Chapter 14

I felt my face get red. "Nope I'm showering alone"

He chuckled "you're so cute princess"

I ran up the stairs and I felt like I was gonna puke but in a good way. Hes gonna make me explode from all this blushing!

After I cleaned myself up I went back downstairs and saw him watching TV. "Hi there" He said as he noticed me coming down the stairs. As I got closer to him I realized HE'S NOT WEARING A SHIRT?!

"W-what happened to your shirt" I stuttered.

"I got flour on it and I didn't want to get it on your couch" He smirked.

"O-oh" I said starring a little bit. "Wait actually I still have your jacket from the ice cream da- hangout"

"Oh thanks" He chuckled as I grabbed it for him.

"Hey isn't it my turn to ask you a question?!" I asked.

"I guess so princess" He said putting the jacket on.

I thought about it for a second. "What were you looking for in my diary?"

He sighed "Makenna I don't remember"

"Yes you do! You just don't want to tell me because it's a secret!"

"Its awkward if I tell you" He said.

"Please tell me" I begged with puppy dog eyes.

"I- liked you" He admitted and blushed.

My eyes got wide. "Do you still-"

"No of course not! That was years ago. I read your diary to see who you liked so I wouldn't get shot down if I confessed my feelings" He said not making eye contact.

"Oh" I said surprised.

"Yeah I never meant to hurt anyone by it, but obviously it happened and I'm sorry" He said softly.

"It's okay. I mean you're right, it was years ago" He liked me? But he doesn't anymore :(

"So I guess it's my turn". He said moving on. "Do you like being called princess?" He asked.

My eyes widened. "N-no I don't but I've gotten used to it" Lair!

"You can't lie in this game princess" He smirked.

"I'm not! I'ts my turn now" I said getting red in my cheeks.

"Whatever you say 'princess'" He popped the p.

"So if I'm not your crush anymore who is?"

"No one" He said locking eyes with me.

"No one? Really?" I said doubting him.

"Yup no one" He said not breaking eye contact. Damn.

"What about you? Who's your crush?" He asked.

"No one" I sighed.

"I doubt that" He said softly.

I realized we were moving closer to each other and cleared my throat. "Um well you should probably get going. Its really late and I don't want your parents to worry"

"Uh yeah I should go" he said getting up off the couch and grabbing his shirt. "Thanks for the fun"

"Oh yeah no problem" I said opening the door.

"Bye princess" He smiled at me and closed the door behind him. His smile is perfect.

*next day*

I drove into the parking lot and saw my usual spot open. Should I? No I don't want to cause more drama with Christina. Instead I decided to park in the same spot I parked the day before.

I looked over and Luke was sitting in the car next to mine. Omg should I talk to him???

He looked over at me and waved. I waved back and got out of my car. Here goes nothing.

Luke also got out of his car and walked towards me. "Hey Luke" I greeted.

"Hey whats up?" He asked.

"Oh you know, just going to school and stuff" And stuff?!Stupid girl!

"Very cool" He grinned.

"Yeah what about you?"

"'Oh you know, just going to school and stuff'" He chuckled.

I giggled "well I'll see you around then"

"Absolutely" He smiled and we went our separate ways.

Why im I so weird?????!!!!!

*Lunch*

"Welp I was right! Daniel doesn't like me" I said to Alyssa and her eyebrows went up.

"But there's so much chemistry there and he sure acts like it" She sighed.

"He said he used to like me but he doesn't anymore"

"How do you know he wasn't trying to test you?" She smirked.

"What do you mean test me?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Test you to see if you have feelings for him too. It makes sense because he was afraid to get shot down then and maybe he's afraid to get shot down now" She explained.

"I don't think so Aly. I mean he could probably get any other girl so why me?"

"BeCaUsE YoU HaVe ChEmIsTrY!" She repeated in a duh tone.

"We don't have anything" I said rolling my eyes.

"I'm not doing our bet until he absolutely confesses to having no feelings for you What-so-ever" She sassed.

"But he diiiiid" I whined.

"Well I don't believe it"

"That's because you don't want to buy me ice cream for a week!" I sassed.

"Well I don't want to do that either" She giggled.
