Alyssa and I decided to call it a day and went home after we bought a couple things from Bath and Body Works.
"I'm sorry about Christina" I told Alyssa as we drove home.
"No don't apologize for someone else's doing" Alyssa said and squeezed my hand.
"I just feel bad, I should've stuck up for myself" I sighed.
"Well don't because she was targeting you and you're just way too nice" Alyssa said smiling.
"I am definitely not nice! I just tried to handle the situation in a calmer way" I explained.
"Yeah the nice way!"
"The adult way!" I argued.
"Well either way I'm glad I was there. I'll always be there for you" She said and pulled into a drive through.
"Starbucks?!" I asked excitedly.
"Well of course! And it's my treat" She said grabbing her purse.
"No ill pay you've done enough for me today!" I said grabbing money.
"Nope I'm paying" Alyssa argued.
I pushed my money towards her "TAKE MY MONEY!" I demanded and she laughed.
"No Ken you can pay next time okay?" She consolidated.
"Okay" I sighed defeated and we ordered our drinks.
"Thank you" I said once again.
She smiled and took a pic of us holding our drinks "this is going on my snap!" She said and showed me the picture.
"Ooo send it to me please!" I said taking a sip of my coffee.
"Already read your mind" she replied and 2 seconds later I got a Snapchat notification.
"Cute!" I said and saved it into my phone.
Minutes later we got back to her house. "So are you into video games?" Alyssa asked.
"Duhh!" I said and she chuckled.
"Okay well we have a PlayStation downstairs if you want to play!"
"Yes!" I said excitedly.
We both went downstairs and she handed me a controller. "So what do you want to play?" She asked.
"What ya got?"
"COD, Rocket league, Fortnite, and Minecraft"
"Omg let's play minecraft!" I said eagerly. She giggled and loaded the game.
"I thought I heard giggling" Luke said walking into the room.
"Yeah we just got back" Alyssa said.
"Oh, can I play?" He asked with a slight grin on his face.
"If ken's okay with it" Alyssa said and looked at me.
"O-oh sure! I don't know why he shouldn't it's not even my PlayStation" I rambled.
Luke chuckled and also grabbed a controller. He sat next to me on the couch and I was kinda nervous.
I learned forward to grab my drink and my hair started to block Luke's view. He pushed my hair back behind my ear and caressed my cheek.
I blushed and looked at him. "Sorry your hair was in my way" He chuckled nervously and blushed too.
"It's okay" I giggled and continued playing.
Sometime into us playing our arms rested against each other and I was kinda leaning on him. I felt his chest rise and fall and his breath against me.
Alyssa looked over and smirked. "I've gotta use the bathroom so I'll be right back" Oh god no don't leave me!
We sat there in silence for a few seconds then he spoke up.
"How was the mall?"
"It was fine" I said and I remembered the incident.
"Sorry if I'm wrong but doesn't 'fine' mean no good when women say it?" He questioned.
I sighed "well this girl kinda brought our mood down"
"Who was it?"
"A girl from our school that hates me"
"That's weird, how could anyone hate you?" He whispered.
"What do you mean?" I asked leaning away to face him.
His eyes locked with mine. "I mean your so kind and beautiful, it just seems hard to believe" He said which made me blush and get butterflies in my stomach.
"Thank you" I said giggling.
I leaned back into him and he put his arm around me. "Can I tell you something?" He whispered in my ear.
"Alright I'm back!" Alyssa said walking back into the room.
He sighed "later" He whispered and we continued to play.
Alyssa said she was bored and we went back to her room. "I guess I'll see you around" I said to Luke.
"Literally" He chuckled causing me to giggle too.
Alyssa shut the door behind me and smirked. "Time to talk about everything and anything until we fall asleep"
"Yesss" I said and we set up her room and got ready for bed.
"So what's going on between you and my brother?" Alyssa asked.
"I-I don't know" I stuttered.
"I think he likes you" She said and I blushed good thing she can't see me.
"Well I like him too, he's super sweet"
"No I mean in the like, like way" She giggled.
"Well if he does I promise I won't date him"
"What do you mean? Just because he's my brother doesn't mean you can't date him" She snorted.
"Yeah but wouldn't it be weird if I did? Plus he's a year younger than me" I reasoned and she sighed.
"But if you like him, I'm not gonna stand in your way"
"Why do you think he likes me?" I asked.
"He doesn't call all my friends kind and beautiful" She explained.
"Wait you heard our conversation?" I asked with wide eyes.
"Uhh no" She giggled "okay maybe a little but I actually had to use the bathroom"
I giggled. "Well what about you? Do you happen to like anyone?" I asked.
"No" She sighed.
"Oh" I said awkwardly.
"Wait what about Daniel?" She asked.
"What... About.. Him?" I asked.
"Is anything going on between you two?" She asked.
"Umm no" Yes we almost kissed! I lied.
"Huh I thought he woulda made a move by now" She said.
"Welp I guess it's because he doesn't like me" I said.
"We'll see"
"Welp I'll get to say I told you so"
"How have your dates been going though?" She asked.
"Dates?!" I asked.
"Hangouts with Daniel" She said in a duh tone.
"Oh, ummm they've been good I guess. I've gotten to know him more"
"I have a feeling that you'll get to know him very well" She said and we both giggled.
"Shut up" I told her and we fell asleep.
