Mia's POV (Point Of View)

I whimpered when I awoke to a bright light but it imediatlly dimmed and i knew it wasn't because I had adjusted to the light.

That was when i noticed that presence again. Well, i had noticed it before but i was just more aware of how it sent tingles through my body and gave me goose bumps.

I looked around the room searching for the source of these feelings. At first my eyes skipped over him because he was standin in the dark but they snapped back when he stepped forward.

My eyes widened and my heart sped up by just looking at him and that was quite embarressing concidering how i was connected to a heart monitor which was clearly giving away my feelings.

He had brown short hair with green eyes and tanned skin. He had a broad build and your could clearly see his biceps and six- no, EIGHTpack in the tight shirt he was wearing and looked about 6'2". In other words he looked hot.

But instead of acting like any other guy would at my reaction to his looks he frowned in concern and asked, "Are you alright?"

Oh god, the sound of his voice made my stomach react with butterflys and the monitor sped even higher.

"Are you in pain? I can call the doctor." Now it felt like an acrobatic class was being taken in my stomach but before he could reach the door I stopped him.

"No!" I said which mad him freeze and look up at me and I saw him shiver.

"But i could use some water?" I said after a second feeling embarresed about my straight forwardness.

He gulped, nodded and took off to get me a glass of water. When he returned and I sat up and drank the contents, that's when the panic set in.

"Who are you?Where am I? What happened? Is this a hospital? Why are you here? Did you do anything to me? Why aren't you answering me?" I demanded.

He just stood there dumbfounded for a few seconds then let out a chuckle which made the inside of my stomach flip again.

"Slow down girl, I can't keep up. Now one at a time." He looked at me expectantly.

I thought it over, "Uh, who are you?" I decided that was the easy one and I also was really curious.

He smirked, "I'm Caiden, I found you and brought you here. My turn, What's your name?"

I sat there trying to think. I was having a hard time rememberinh but i knew it started with an 'M'. "Mirn... Meli.... Mia... my name is Mia."

I said after a few trys. I figured out what i wanted to asl next. "What am i doing here?"

He sighed and moved closer from the wall he was leaning on and came to the end of the bed. "Ok you might want to sit- uh, um lay down."

i frowned but did what he asked. He started to explain. "I was running in the forest..."

"So basically your telling me that you are a werewolf, was on duty and stumbled upon my broken body, brung me back here and i almost died. Then to save me you bit me and changed me into a werewolf and i was asleep for three days do tothe change?" i asked sceptically.

It was an hour since i had woken up and i felt pretty relaxed around Caiden but felt very weird about what he was saying.

He looked at me with a serious expression and nodded. I didn't know how to react at first but then i just started laughing and I realised that I started to sound crazy.
