Mia's POV

CHAPTER SIX

Daniel zipped open the tent and I stepped out to find myself in the middle of a campsite under the forest canopy. I heard loud laughing coming from the other side of the tent and I suddenly got hit with a wave of nervousness. I mean what if they don't like me? What if they think I'm beneath them? An outsider?

"Don't worry, they'll love you." Daniel reassured me sensing my emotions.

I nodded and gave him a small smile. He held out his hand for me to take and I hesitantly placed my hand in his. He led me to a campfire with a group of people surrounding a fire drinking, laughing and just having fun. It's so different from Caiden's pack, a good different.

My mouth went dry when they became silent a drastic change from only seconds a go. Most were looking with curiosity, a few with understanding but there was one that was looking at me with annoyance which soon turned to hate when they saw mine and Daniels hands linked.

I hadn't even realized we hadn't let go it felt so natural, but I'd rather not get on the bad side of anyone here so I let go of his hand. The girl who had been glaring at me stopped but it was replaced with a smug smirk, one that made me frown. I turned my head away hearing Daniel speak but not processing the words.

"Huh?" I asked shaking myself out of my thoughts.

I heard the people laughing and I could feel the heat rushing up to my cheeks and I moved closer to Daniel in embarrassment. I could hear Daniel rumble with laughter giving me goosebumps.

"I said, Pack this is Mia and Mia this is my pack." I got chorused mumbles of hellos directed my way and I gave them a shy wave in return.

"As you all have been told we have been looking for the last Souvian wolf for generations and after many years we have finally found it," a collective gasp and astonished looks were all found in the group even the girl who had been glaring was surprised. "and I'm proud to announce that Mia here is the last Souvian wolf."

"I'm sure you would all like The chance to meet and talk with her so if Mia doesn't mind she would answer your questions getting the chance to know you all."

They all smiled at me as if I was Santa on Christmas Eve and I had brung a bag of presents over my shoulder, it was starting to make me uncomfortable with the way that they were staring at me and I desperately wanted to squirm and move behind Daniel but I have a feeling that they wouldn't approve of that so I stood my ground until Daniel led me over to three people sitting on a log behind the fire.

There were two girls, one with blonde frizzy hair and warm brown eyes and the other with midnight black straight hair and pierceing blue eyes. They were both very beautiful with slim figures and angel like faces. There was also a redheaded boy with vibrant green eyes and a very muscular build. Like the girls beside him he was strikingly beautiful - or should I say handsome.

"Mia this is my second in command - Brian- and his mate - Stacy." Daniel informed me gesturing to the boy and the blonde girl.

"Hi, I'm Lilly, Daniels sister." The black haired girl informed me before sticking out her tongue at her brother who was looking at her with annoyance.

"Mia I've got to go do some alpha business so if you-" Daniel began to talk but was then cut off by Lilly.

"Yeah, yeah if she needs anything or feels uncomfortable your only a mind link away, yada yada." She said sarcastically whilst looking at her nails.
