Stryder finishes dinner and brings two plates to the table. I turn off the t.v. and walk over to our new table. As I slide into a chair, I fall in love. The wood was beautiful, the chairs were comfortable. He sits down next to me and I look at him in awe. "Good choice on the furniture. Everything's so beautiful." He smiles proudly. "I picked them out myself. My parents helped pay, but I chose everything." I laugh appreciatively. "Well thank you." He smiles boyishly.
We start eating and I drool. "I forgot how good of a cook you were." He smirks. "I mean I am a head chef. I kind of have to be good." I smile. "You know, I totally forgot you went to school on a baseball scholarship. You would think you went on a food scholarship." He laughs and nods. "I actually did play baseball the first year. But then I started making dinner for the team and my friends and they all wondered why I was playing baseball. So I tried out the food way and obviously succeeded." I smile. "I didn't know that." He smirks. "There's a lot you don't know about me."
I roll my eyes. "Like what?" He sits there thinking. After a good three minutes, he looks down at his plate sadly. "In my defense, I could've said that to you years ago and it would've worked perfectly."
"It would've. Although I may have fallen for you even sooner if you said it."
"Oh yeah?" He smirks.
"You have no idea how hot it would've been."
He shakes his head. He has no idea that we've had this conversation and it went the way I wanted it too. I laugh to myself. "Is that why girls always slept with me whenever I wanted?" I shake my head in disappointment. "You ruined it, babe, you ruined it." He throws his head back and laughs a deep chuckle. He stands up and grabs our dishes, rinsing them off, and then sets them in the dishwasher. He walks over to me, taking my hand, then pulling me to the couch. I lay on his shoulder as he turns the t.v. on. "You'd make a wonderful husband you know." He laughs. "Oh really? Hopefully, my next girlfriend will feel that way." I sit up and look at him accusingly. His eyes widen. "Babe, I was kidding." I stand up. "A real husband material man wouldn't kid." He stands up with a smirk. "Ever notice them with wives by their side at seventy?"
I hate when he's right. I look at him through squinted eyes. He smiles and falls back onto the couch. "Point made." I angrily sit back down next to him. He tries to put an arm around me but I shoo him away. He looks at me with a pout. I smile. He puts his lips out. I look at him with a stone face. Although on the inside I was smiling at his dumbass. He leans in closer. I lean back. He leans closer and I fall onto my back. He uses this as an opportunity and starts tickling me. I burst into laughter. I continue to try and push him off but he was ten times stronger. "I'm," I couldn't speak. I was laughing so hard. But then I cough weirdly. He looks at me curiously. He stops and I hurriedly get off the couch, running into the bathroom. I'm throwing up into the toilet.
He's quickly by my side holding my hair. I lean against the tub and laugh lightly. "This brings back memories doesn't it." He smiles softly. "Are you okay?" I nod. I felt much better. I take his hand and pull myself up. I wash out my mouth. "It was probably from laughing too hard." He laughs. "Whoops." I shake my head and walk to the room. "I'm going to lay down." He nods following.

Today was Saturday, Alicia and Noah are going to be here in like thirty minutes! I cannot wait. I clean the bathroom and do the dishes, trying to busy myself. I was overly excited. I don't even know why. I saw them like two weeks ago. Stryder comes through the door and I smile wide. "They're almost here." He nods, taking off his work clothes. He comes back a few minutes later and sits on the couch with me. Multiple knocks come from the door and I spring up. I run to the door and Stryder laughs. I look at him sternly and he shuts up. I open the door and in comes Alicia. We hug tightly, giggling as we fall into the counter. She lets go and Noah and I hug. "Have you been working out? You're killing me." He laughs loudly and let's go. "Yes, he has." She says eyeing him and biting her lip. My eyes widen and they just laugh.
