"Here, come on in." Autumn pulls me inside. She sits me on the couch then she sits next to me. Ryan and Stryder sit on the opposite couch. I look at Autumn calmly. "So that means I have to link arms with him, walk down the aisle with him, and take pictures with him?" She looks at Ryan and then nods.

"I'm sorry guys, we weren't thinking." I quickly shake my head. "No, it's okay. I'll do anything I need to make this wedding perfect. Don't change anything because of our past." I look at him. "We can handle being civil for your special night." He nods. I smile lightly then look at Autumn. "So I, uh, came over here to talk about the dress colors, where the weddings going to be at, and the whole ordeal with the caterers, but I can come back another time." I start leaving but someone grabs my arm. I turn around and notice it's Stryder's hand. "I came here for the same reason so I think us four should discuss it." I look up into those dazzling brown eyes. "Okay." We all sit around the table, Ryan on my left and Autumn on my right.

"So I've been talking to the mayor and stuff and he agreed that we could have the wedding in the grass at the edge of the lake. How does that sound?" They look at each other and nod. I smile. "Okay, that's done. Now I overheard you two arguing over colors for the theme. And I found these," I show them pictures of bridesmaids dresses and ties for the groomsmen. They look at each other again and nod.

"Nice work Kate," Autumn says in awe. I smile softly and check that off the list on my phone. I scroll then name caterers. "The first one is the cheapest, but the last one will serve the best food." Ryan laughs. "With our parents, money isn't going to be a problem so, we'd like the last one please." I nod and highlight the companies name. I delete the other names and then read off what we've decided on so far. They both smile and nod at everything. "It sounds perfect Kate. You're doing an amazing job." I nod and then look at Stryder. He was already staring at me. "W-What do you think? Does that all sound good to you?" He nods. "Yes. This is going to be a beautiful wedding. Good work." I nod and then stand up. "Autumn, I have some samples of flowers at my apartment, want to come look?" She nods. "Oh yes, please! I'm going to pick the best flowers babe, don't worry." She gives him a peck and then we're on our way to my apartment.

I let us in and then I show her some of the samples I had sitting in a vase on the windowsill. She looks through the three I had. "Definitely the daisies. I feel like a baby blue and white theme is going to look really pretty on that bright green grass by the lake." I nod, writing down daises in my notes. "That's all I've come up with so far. I figured you, me, Alicia, and your mom could go out for lunch to figure the other things out." She nods. "Alicia and Noah are moving back home but they said they could rent a hotel out here for as long as we need." I'm about to say good deal but then I remembered, "By the time they're settled in back home, I could have an extra bed in the guest room. They could just stay here for free." Her face brightens. "That's a really good idea babe. I'm sure they'll appreciate it." I smile and nod. We hug and promise to hang out later this week.

I put Alicia, Noah, and I into a group chat. Hey guys, I was talking to Autumn and she told me how you were going to just rent a hotel out here, but I have an extra room and I was thinking you could just stay here for free? You totally don't have too though, just a thought of mine. Alicia texts back right away. Oh my god, Kate. That's perfect thank you! And don't worry about a bed, I have an air mattress we can sleep on. I smile at my phone. Everything's going good so far. I put my phone down on the counter then go lay in the bed. Seeing Stryder today brought up whole new set of emotions that I didn't know still existed. Autumn told me a few weeks ago that every time Stryder's girlfriend wanted sex he broke up with them. He's had like ten girlfriends now. Not once, has he had sex with any of them. Ryan said he's going back to his old days, just not as ravenous.
