"Come on Liv! We are going to be late to Adam's Party!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming. Slow down!", I yell, running down the stairs to the front door, where my sister is already waiting for me.

Even though we are identical twins, we are compleatly different. Isabella, being very outgoing, has a lot of "cool" friends, is liked by everyone and always welcomed at every party. Being charismatic, always cheerful and easy going, she is the center of every group she is in. She doesn't need to make an afford to fit in, unlike me. It's not, that I don't have any friends, because I do and they are the best friends I could ask for but I am more of the shy and calm kind of person. I can be out going, when I am around people I trust but I am just not that easy going with everyone. Isabella is the leader, which everyone, me included, follows. She is the fun twin wile I am more of the introverted one, being in her shadow. It has always been like that and I like it that way. She is just... a lot sometimes but I love her for it.

"You look hot tonight Liv. Trying to impress Ryan?", she mocks me, when she sees me wearing the only dress I own. It's black and not to short but tight so it's showing of my curves. My long hair is up in a high bun, while having a little bit of makeup on. Which is more than I normaly do. I don't really like it but tonight it just felt right. When she says Ryan's name, I feel a wave of guilt hitting me again. I haven't thought about him the whole day and now I remember, what I have to do at the party. I look at Isabella and tilt my head to the side a little.
"You don't look so bad yourself sis. Who do you want to impress?", I try to avoid the question about Ryan.
"Aah... you know, you can never know who you are meeting at partys like this. Maybe my Ryan is at the party tonight and when he is, I have to look the best way I can", she laughs. I try to act surprised. But I know my sister. She desperatly wants to meet her prince charming to start their already planned out future with him. And until she does, she bridges the time gap with insignificant flirts and hookups.

"So no one in particular?", I ask while closing the door behind us und hiding the key under the doormat.
"No. But aren't you glad that Mom and Dad are on this weekend trip with unkle Matt and Auntie Becca?", she tries to change the subject. I get the hint that she doesn't wanna talk about it.
"Yeah sure. I'm glad they don't have to see you coming home compleatly wasted", I laugh.
"Excuse me? What was that? Do I really have to remember you about Conner's New Years party? You blacked out drunk in the kitchen and had to be carried home by Ryan. It's a miracale you didn't woke Mom or Dad up, when you spent the rest of the night in our bathroom" , she nudges my shoulder.
"Didn't your friend wanted to pick us up?" This time I was the one changing the topic. "We are walking for about 15 minutes now and I am only wearing a dress und you are only wearing shorts and a crop top." With her blond hair falling down on her shoulders in big curls and how the smokey eyes make her eyes appear bigger. She looks like every mans dream. Normaly our hair is straight but tonight she put some afford in curling her hair perfectly. Our hair is the only thing that ist different about us, next to our character of course. Hers is a little over shoulder lenght, while mine is reaching down to my waist, when it's not up in a bun like now.

"He planned to, but yesterday after school the police confiscated his drivers licence because he was driving to fast again. And the club isn't that far away anyway. Look we're almost there." That's the good thing about living in Downtown Los Angeles. Clubs are just a few blocks away.

We stopped in front of a lage, expensive looking building. Money had never been a problem for us, thanks to our parents who are both pretty succesful lawyers.
"Olivia and Isabella McKinney. We're guests of Adam Huff", my sister tells the guards in front of the huge doors. Within a few seconds they checked our names and led us in. Inside it was kind of dark and the music was already loud, eventhough it was only about nine. There weren't that much people here already, so we found Adam and his friends quickly.

"Birthday Boy!", Isabella squiled.
"You look great, how are you doing? I hope there are a few more people coming right?" "Of course. Who do you think I am?", Adam laughs and hugs both of us. "Congratulations! Thank you for the invetation Adam. The location looks great by the way", I chime in.
"Thanks Olivia. Ryan just called to tell me he is coming later, so he is not going to be here until ten. But I think Chiara and the other ones are in the back somewhere already." "Okay, thanks for telling me. I'm going see if I can find them. See you around I guess." I turn to Isabella, who is already talking to some friends of hers.
"Bella, I'm going to stay with Chiara. See you later", I inform her. She doesn't even turn around, only nods her head. Thats typical for her. As soon as she is with the cool kids, she has better things to do than talking to her sister.
"Like always", I think and am on my way to the back.

Suddenly I feel her hand around my wrist, holding me back. "Don't forget, why you are here in the first place. Talk to him and tell him you are sorry. It's not fair to him, if you don't tell him how you really feel", Isabella wispers in my ear und is gone as soon as she came. I sight and head for the bar. I definitely need a drink first. And I still have some time before Ryan is here anyway, so I'm ordering a few shots and beginn to look for my friends.
