Ch. 6 How dare you touch her with your dirty hands?!

Three years later. 

Toril is still the Viking Village Chief, and she takes her role seriously since she wants to make her parents proud of her. Toril stopped going to battles since her duty as a Viking Village Chief is to protect her people inside the village while the warriors fight against their enemies at the war zone. Even though Toril is at an age where she should be getting married and having a family, she has been rejecting a lot of suitors since she feels as though being married to someone would be a distraction of her Viking Village Chief duties. What Toril doesn't want anyone to know is that the reason she doesn't want to get married is that her heart still belongs to Mikael. 

It has been three years since Mikael married Esther. Even though Esther is his wife, he doesn't have any romantic feelings for her. After Mikael and Esther got married, they went to their honeymoon at a place, which would become their new home. Before Mikael and Esther had sex, at the wedding reception, Dahlia placed a spell on Esther's stomach so that her sister could have children since her younger sister was born infertile, and she remembered Esther begging her to give her the ability to have children so that her husband could be happy with her.

Dahlia then whispers to Esther that once her eldest child turns five, she would take that child with her in exchange for Esther to have a family. Esther immediately said 'yes' since she wanted to be a Mother, not knowing the consequence that will happen in the future. After Mikael and Esther had sex, nine months later, they welcome a beautiful baby girl to the world, which Mikael named Freya Mikaelson. 

Two years later, Mikael and Esther also welcome a beautiful baby boy to the world, which Mikael named Finneas "Finn" Mikaelson. 

A year later, Esther has been noticing that once Freya and Finn were born, Mikael stopped sleeping in their bedroom, and she saw that he only slept in his office or on the couch in the living room. Esther couldn't help but feel envious that Mikael only shows affections towards their three-year-old daughter and their one-year-old son. Esther tries her best to shower Mikael with love and affection whenever he comes home from war, but Mikael always pushes her feelings to the side and instead goes to shower their children with love and devotion as well as give them toys that he would usually buy from merchants during his travels. 

Mikael adores his children a lot since he couldn't help but see him and Toril in them even though their Mother is Esther. Mikael noticed that his daughter Freya has his blonde hair and green eyes from her paternal grandfather, Atticus. Finn, on the other hand, has "Toril's" dark brown hair and brownish-green eyes, which could be a mix between his paternal grandfather, Atticus' green eyes and "Toril's" brown eyes. Even though Mikael loves both of his children, Freya is the apple of his eyes since she is his eldest child and his only daughter. Mikael's love for Freya and Finn is on par with his feelings for Toril.  

Present day, it is morning, and the weather is warm since it is summertime. Toril is in her office, working on paperwork at her house. Toril's warriors are patrolling around her home since she is the Viking Village Chief. A man named Emmanuel Larsen walks up to the property, but Toril's warriors stopped him. 

" Hello. I have come to see Chief Toril. Tell her. It is Sir Emmanuel," Emmanuel looks at Toril's warriors in the eyes as though letting them know that he is a distinguished guest. 

Toril's warriors looked at one another, and one of them turned around to enter the house to inform Toril that Emmanuel wishes to see her. Toril hears her name, and she lifts her head, seeing one of her warriors standing outside of the room.
