Ch. 20 I want to be your son, Mommy!

It is the morning of the next day, and Toril is ready to perform the Blood Bonding Oath Spell that she found within her Mother's book of Spells. Toril spent all night learning this specific spell because she wanted Freya and Finn to be a part of her family. Toril learned that the Blood Bonding Oath Spell allows her to siphon energy and get used as a siphoning link that will connect the children to her. Once Toril mastered the Spell, she meets up with Mikael, who is with the children near the river since he is teaching them how to fish. 

" Mikael," Toril calls out to Mikael. 

Mikael hears his name, and he turns around seeing Toril standing behind him. Mikael nodded his head when he realized that Toril wants to speak to the children. Mikael looks away from Toril, and he turns to look at Freya and Finn. 

" Freya. Finn," Mikael calls out to Freya and Finn, which causes them to stop fishing, and they turned to look at their Father. 

" Yes, Papa?" Freya looks at Mikael while Finn's expression brightens when he sees Toril standing a few feet away from them. " Mommy!" Finn shouts as he runs towards Toril, and he carefully hugs Toril since he didn't want to hurt her and his younger sibling. 

Toril hugs Finn back, and she then looks at Freya. 

" Freya. Finneas. There is something that I must discuss with you two," Toril tells Freya and Finn. 

Finn lets go of Toril, and he steps back to look at her in the eyes. Freya walks up to Toril and Finn, and she then stands next to Finn. 

" What is it, Mama/Mommy?" Freya and Finn curiously asked Toril. 

Toril fondly stares at Freya and Finn. Toril gently placed her hands on their heads as she gently brushed their hair with her fingers. 

" Freya. Finneas. How would you feel if I ask you if you wanted to participate in a spell that can let you be my children in blood?" Toril curiously asked Freya and Finn. 

Freya opened her mouth to say something, but Finn cuts her off. 

" I want to be your son, Mommy!" Finn excitedly shouts at Toril. 

Toril looked at Finn with a surprised expression because she did not expect Finn to respond to her question immediately. Toril then turns to look at Freya, and she sees that the young girl is smiling at her. 

" You are my favorite Mama in the whole world. You make Papa happy. You are his beautiful sunshine, and I would love to be your daughter!" Freya happily tells Toril. 

Toril smiles at Freya. 

" Alright," Toril nods her head, and she turns her head to look at Mikael. " Mikael. Can I borrow your hunting knife?" Toril asked Mikael. 

" Okay," Mikael carefully passed the hunting knife to Toril. 

Toril grabs the hunting knife, and she looks at Freya and Finn. 

" Okay. Freya. Finneas. I am going to cut the palm of my right hand. I will then cut the palm of your right hand. I am going to be honest with you two. It will hurt, but I also learned a spell that can heal injuries. So, once we finish the Blood Oath Spell, I will heal you two," Toril tells Freya and Finn. " Freya. Would you like to go first?" Toril asked Freya. " I understand if you do not want to do this," Toril smiles at Freya. 

Freya takes a step towards Toril, and she held her right hand out to Toril. 

" I am a big girl! I am not afraid," Freya smiles at Toril. 

" Okay," Toril nods her head, and she used the hunting knife as she cuts her right hand, and then gently cuts Freya's right hand since Freya's hand is smaller than hers. 

Freya lightly bites her lips, since her right hand stings a little when Toril cut her hand, but she kept an adorable, determined expression on her face since she wants to be Toril's biological daughter. 

" Okay, Freya. Place your right hand on top of mine, please," Toril softly tells Freya. 

Freya nods her head, and she placed her right hand on top of Toril's hand. 

Mikael stood behind Finn while carefully eyeing Toril and Freya. Mikael blinks when he hears Toril speak a foreign language, and his eyes widened a little when he sees a glowing red light appearing on Toril and Freya's hands. Mikael and Finn watched with amazement as they watched the two girls exchanged words. 

Toril pulls her right hand away as she carefully eyes Freya's injury, and a few seconds later, the wound disappeared. Toril looks back at Freya, and she asked the young girl how she feels. Freya looks at Toril, and she smiles at her. 

" I do not feel any pain, Mama," Freya happily tells Toril. 

" That's good," Toril nods her head, and she turns to look at Finn. " Finneas," Toril calls out to Finn, who walks up to Toril, and he stands in front of her. " Are you ready?" Toril softly asked Finn. 

" I am ready," Finn smiles at Toril. 

" Okay. This cut is going to sting a little," Toril carefully cuts Finn's right hand. 

Finn stood his ground while holding in his breath since he didn't want Toril to think that he is a scary cat. Finn carefully placed his right hand on top of Toril's hand as they did the same ritual. Finn looks at Toril in the eyes, and he smiles at her. 

" Mommy. No matter what, I will always love you. If something happens to Papa, I shall protect you and take care of you for the rest of my life," Finn pledges to Toril. 

Toril looks at Finn with a surprised expression while Mikael smiled at his son since he trusts Finn to protect Toril and his siblings if something were to happen to him. Once the ritual was complete, Toril healed Finn's injury, and they both shared a hug. Both Toril and Finn smiled since they are happy that they now share the same blood.
