(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I couldn't fall asleep after that. I kept thinking of the worst possibilities when The Hunter's Association found us. Or worse, if Yagari found us. If the H.A. did then they would seperate both Zero and I, undoubtedly to kill Zero and throw me into prison for assisting a vampire. The sky turned from black to a yellow orange colour outside and I knew that I couldn't lay down any longer.

I pulled myself away from Zero's arms and put on the clothes that weren't torn. I had to find some better ones and figure out a plan. Unfortunately a majority of the people I knew in my life were Vampire Hunters so I couldn't seek help from them. I was on my own with this one.

Sneaking past a sleeping Zero, I walked out of the building in search for food and new, more presentable clothes. The clothes weren't too hard to find but the food was different. After changing in a public bathroom and discarding my uniform, I found out that I had left my wallet in my dorm and I figured that Zero didn't have his on him either. The clothes I wore were bland and boring. It was a pair of loose jeans and a sweatshirt. I kept my hair down to keep a low profile. I got Zero some clothes too, just as basic as mine. I figured if we could get out of the city undetected then we could find a way to the next town and figure out what to do next. The plan was easier said than done because at the time, I had no idea how I was supposed to pull it off.

With it being so early in the morning, it was hard to try an swipe anything from the street vendors or food carts. I was eyeing a fruit cart for an opening to take something when I felt a hot breath on the back of my neck.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing here by yourself?"

I spun around and came face to face with a brown haired boy. He looked about nineteen. His hair was a mop of messy curls and had deep green eyes. He was slouched over a bit to stand eye to eye with me. I reached for the small blade that I always kept concealed on me and went to swing it out at him but his reflexes were fast and his hand caught my wrist.

"Let me go!" I said.

The boy smiled and took the knife from my hand. "This is a bit barbaric, don't you think?"

I pulled my had from his grip and stared up at him. "Give that back." He closed it and handed it back to me. "Thanks...?" I said shocked at his compliance.

"Anytime love." He said. I noted a small accent in his voice, Russian maybe? "As I was saying, what are you doing?"

"And why would I tell you?" I asked, lowering my guard a small bit.

The boy leaned against the wall. "I thought that I could offer you some help."

I arched an eyebrow and crossed my arms. "And why would you do that?"

He shrugged. "I just figured that you're a girl down on her luck and could use the help of a strong man."

I swear that I saw his ego grow some when he said that. I rolled my eyes and put away my knife, figuring that this guy wasn't that much of a threat to me. "No thanks, I'm fine."

"Oh come on, don't be like that." He said. "After all, it would be rude of me not to help a beautiful girl like you."

I looked at him then said, "Open your mouth."

The boy's attitude faltered a bit. "I'm sorry, but what."

"You heard me." I said blatantly. "Open your mouth, then I'll consider letting you help me."

I figured that this guy was just trying to get into my pants, so why not use him. Not like I'll be seeing him again after this. But if i was going to, I had to make sure that he wasn't a Vampire.
