I wanted to confront her about it but I was scared. I kept on thinking what if I mistook it. I didn't want to believe on my eyes. I couldn't sleep properly. I was just eagerly waiting for the next day to approach. While thinking all these I don't know how and when I fell asleep coz the next thing I know was my mom waking me up. I woke up, freshened and hurried to the college. I wanted to talk with Adi. Maybe just once talking with her will clear everything. But luck doesn't give u easily what u want. She avoided me. I don't know why but whenever I would approach her she would back off. I anyhow needed to talk to her. Later at night while walking she asked me, "Do u have any apartment or house on rent nearby? ". "Probably no... ", I answered. Then a idea struck me. "Why don't u stay with my family for a few days? ", I questioned. She gave me a bewildered look and said, "Are you serious? I can't do that ". "But why? Look, I will convince mom and dad about it. U don't need to worry", I stubbornly insisted. "No... I can't... Please", she said. "Why can't you? ", I prompted her. "Because... I don't wanna be a burden on someone else now", she said. "U won't be.. Believe me.. Please", I said making a puppy face. "Were you a dog in ur previous life? ", she chuckled. "Is that a yes? ", I questioned excitedly and she nodded her head. As we reached the small forest or better to be called as Mike's place, my heart started beating faster as I wanted to talk to her. After nearly 30 minutes or so she said me, "I think u must go now... ". "Why? ", I asked. "Nothing it's just late.. ", she said. "And you? ", I asked. "I will also go back after a few minutes ", she answered. "Then let's go together ", I said and earned a death glare from her. I stood up from my place and started walking down the roads when I realised that I had left my phone there. I went back and saw her taking in some white powder. After in taking, she leaned to the tree behind her and soon blood flooded down from her nose and mouth. "ADI", I yelled at her and she got startled. She hastily wiped off the blood and stammering she asked, "What are you doing here? ". "That's none of ur business... Just say me why r u in taking drugs?? What happened so bad in ur life that u r taking these?? ", I asked shakily. "I can't say u that.. Just get away.. ", she said and tried to walk forward pushing me away. Wait... Her hand felt a bit warm.. Warmer than usual... As I looked at her, I saw her fainting. I instantly went to her and grabbing her, I took her to Sheena Didi. After a while ,when she was done with the tests she came to me and I sprang up on my feet. "She has high fever and has overdosed drugs. Even though now she is out of danger, u need to take care of her. Such cases are life taking. She may regain her consciousness in the next 4-5 hours", Sheena Didi said. My heart shattered into pieces. I never expected her to do that. I joined two and two as I remembered she was avoiding me in the morning and while walking she was maintaining distance. I asked, "Didi, can I see her now? ". "Yes", she smiled and said. I went into her room. She was looking peaceful but her face had turned pale. No one can say that this is the same girl who was in taking drugs a few minutes ago.

As time passed, she regained consciousness and I called Sheena Didi. "She is out of danger and we can discharge her within a few hours", she said. After Didi left, I approached Aditi. "Aditi, please say me.... What has happened? Why have you taken this drastic step? Please", I requested calmly. "Nothing Darshan... It's one of my daily routine. U needn't worry about it ", she said in a calmer tone. "Needn't worry about what? Sheena Didi said if u wouldn't be admitted to the hospital on time then you would be dead.. ", I yelled at her as my voice trailed off. "And why does that matter to you? ", she asked monotonously. "Are u serious?? Really?? ", I said rolling my eyes, "Okay fine.. If you don't want to say then don't but please stop the in take of drugs.. Please.. ",this time tears made their way out of my eyes. She looked at me in bewilderment. Just then Sheena Didi entered with the discharge papers and I signed them. After a few minutes we were out of the hospital. I walked her to her house. She insisted on me to come into her house. "Okay... At least come to help me in packing my bags.. ", she said and I agreed. As Manohar chacha saw me a wide grin stretch on his face. She whispered me, "Don't say anything about what happened ". " But why? ", I asked back. "Just do what I said", she said and I obeyed. We went to her room while I was helping in packing her bags my eyes fell upon a diary. Not like the one I saw the previous time but it was different. As I wanted to shift my fingers over it, she hurriedly picked it up and said, "Don't ever try to see that". It was astonishing. It felt like she was a bag of secrets and mysteries.....
