It was a crazy few months for Julian and Lizzie, finding out Dylan and Andy were having their baby, Lizzie getting her promotion and one that would change their lives forever.... Lizzie was pregnant.
Time went by fast, everything was ready to go.

"Holy crap I'm getting excited , can this child get out of me" Lizzie said walking into the house.
He chuckled at her remark, knowing she loved every second of Her pregnancy.
"That's normal love, you're close to having the baby" he said giving her a kiss.
"What's cooking good looking?" She said rubbing his back.
"You'll see"
Lizzie reached his shoulder and squeezed it
"Ow ow ow ow " she whispered
"Lizzie are you okay ?"
"Yep, just a Braxton hick" she said.
"How about you go relax a little before food is ready"
"Yeah Julian that's a good idea"
That's when his phone went off.
"Hello?,yes, seriously, alright, I'm on my way I'll see you soon, bye"
What's up Julian?"
"Work"
"Oh it's fine I'll be good here,love you"
"Okay bye"
"Call me if you go into labor"
"I will"
Then Julian left.
Just then her phone rang, it was Dylan.
"Hey Dylan what's up?"
"Nothing really, Andy and I are leaving for the hospital, our surrogate is in labour"
"Oh MY GOD DYLAN THAT'S AWESOME!!!"
"I know,time went by fast"
"What are you doing Lizzie"
"I'm, about to sit down and-"
"And what"
"Ah shit"
"Lizzie what's wrong?"
"I'm leaving now!"
"Where are you going?"
"The hospital"
"Lizzie you don't need to come to the hospital,rest you are days away from giving birth"
"NO!,YOU IDIOT"
"Relax Lizzie"
"I gotta go"
"Liz-"
Lizzie hung up and called called Julian, no answer.
Lizzie had water trickling down her leg.
"Oh come on kiddo, now you want to show up" Lizzie said talking to her swollen stomach.
Suddenly a wave of pain hit her,
"GAH,OH SHIT!"
She did the only thing she knew she could, call Dylan again.
She dialled his number and tried to breath so she could talk.
"Hey Lizzie we just got to the hospital"
"Dylan listen to me I need you to-GAHHHHH CALL JASMINE NOW!!!"
"Lizzie what's happening"
"OH MY GOD ARE YOU STUPID, I'M IN LABOR"
"Oh my, where's Julian?"
"He. Got.called.into. Work"
"Okay okay just breath I'm adding her to the call just relax"
"Okay"
Dylan called jasmine and added her to the call that was happening
"Hello,I'm in the middle of my date you guys I'm gonna kill you both"
That's when another wave of pain hit Lizzie and she got pissed.

"I THINK YOUR BEST FRIEND BEING IN LABOR AND BEING HOME ALONE AND STANDING UNDER AMNIOTIC FLUID IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A- GAHHHHHHH DATE!!!"
"OH MY GOD WHAT!!"
"JASMINE MY WATER BROKE I NEED HELP HERE"
"OKAY HOLY SHIT IM ON MY WAY"
Lizzie and Dylan could hear jasmine telling her date that her best friend is in labor and is alone, he totally understood and offered to drive her there.
"Okay Lizzie listen to me, my date is an OB, he wants to know how far apart your contractions are?"
"About every 7 minuets"
"Alright Lizzie it's Dylan, I'm going to call Julian at his office, where do you want him to meet you?"
"I don't know the house"
"Alright just hold on Liz , you're gonna be a mommy very soon"
"I know, it's happening"
"Alright I have to go"
"Thank you Dylan"
"No problem"
Then Dylan hung up.
"Alright Lizzie we are 5 minuets away just keep breathing,you're doing amazing"
"I am gonna try and get the bags before another contraction hits"
"Okay just breathe"
"Bad time for Julian to get called in huh?"
"Haha jasmine this isn't a time to be laughing I'm in tremendous amount pain"
Suddenly the door busts open.
"Lizzie what was that?"
"I don't know"
"LIZZIE!"
"Oh my god it's Julian"
"Oh thank god"
"BABE IT'S TIME, BABY'S COMING MY WATER BROKE!"
I know babe where are you?"
"Baby's room"
"We just pulled up Lizzie"
"Okay, babe go get the door jasmine is here"
Lizzie hung up the phone. To see jasmine running into the baby's room.
"Hey cutie you look amazing"
"Shut it jasmine"
Julian and jasmines date were grabbing baby bags, while Lizzie and jasmine made their way to the car.
"Jas stop stop I'm having a contraction"
Julian ran behind her and rubbed her back.
"Jasmine you load up the bags I'm getting her to the hospital"
Jasmine nodded and Julian grabbed the keys and her phone and purse and were on their way.
"Okay babe, here we go having a baby" Julian said starting the car.
"I know" she said grabbing Julian's hand.
"Contraction?"
"Mhm,owwwwwwwwww"
"We're almost there love"
Not long after Lizzie and Julian made it to the hospital. With jasmine and her date not far behind.
"Hey, Dylan what's going on"
"Oh my god Lizzie hey you Champ How's it going"
"Shut it"
"I'll park the car Julian"
"Your surrogate?"
"She's only 5 cm I have time I don't thing Lizzie has much time"
Lizzie stopped walking for a second.
"EVERYONE STOP"
"what is it Lizzie"
"I think I feel the head"
Everyone stopped dead in their tracks.
Julian freaked.
"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING JUST STANDING THERE GET A WHEELCHAIR, LETS GO!,"
"Julian, it's fine it's normal Lizzie feels like the head is there cause the baby dropped" Jasmine's date said.
"Who are you?"
"Sorry, I'm mark"
Julian shook his hand, "nice to meet you I'm Julian"
"First time father?"
"Yep"
"Alright you guys can get to know each other later I'm kinda in labor" Lizzie said still holding onto Julian's arm.
"Right, lets go"

20 minuets later....
"Alright Lizzie we made it"
"And thank god we did"
The doctor walked in to check how dilated she was.
"7 cm"
"Crap How long have I been in labor for"
"I don't know"
"Oh shit Julian another ones coming" Lizzie said reaching out for Julian's hand.
"AHHHHHHHH JESUS CHRIST WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME" Lizzie yelled squeezing his hand so tight that her knuckles turned white.
"Because I love you and it takes two to tango love"
"Well what a fucking hilarious way of showing by putting me through TERRIBLE PAIN"
Lizzie had beads of sweat going down her face. She was tired and just wanted that baby out.
"What time is it?" Julian asked jasmine who was sitting there rubbing Lizzie's leg
"It's 11:2o pm"
Suddenly, Dylan enters the room with a little bundle.
"Oh my god Dylan" Lizzie smiled.
"Andy and I have a healthy baby girl"
"Awwwww yay congratulations" jasmine said giving him a hug.
"Would you like to hold her Lizzie"
"I would love to go but- gahhhhhhhhh ow ow ow shit"
"Contractions , evil little things"
"MHM"
"Why not get an epidural"
"I.CAN'T"
"Why not?"
"I'm 7 cm"
"Holy crap and you were at work and dilating and had no clue"
"Yep"
"I'll leave you guys to focus"
"Come visit so little baby girl Reinheart can meet her best friend?"
"Definitely"

4 bourse later.....
"AHHHH OH GOD"
"Breathe lizzie, you're doing amazing" Julian assured her.
"She can push" Her doctor said.
"Finally holy shit this kid better get out of me"
"Alright Detective Needham, next contraction, push for ten seconds"
"Okay"
Suddenly the door opened.
"Hi sorry, is she needing a birth partner?"
"Detective Needham?"
"Dylan?"
"Yep"
"GET OVER HERE CONTRACTION IS COMING"
Dylan sprinted over to her side and grabbed her hand. And with that, she started pushing.
"Okay Lizzie take a little break till the next contraction"
"Okay"
"Lizzie?"
"Yes Julian"
"I just want you to know I love,you more than anything in the world and I just want to spend the rest of my life with you and our little girl"
"Our little what?"
"Oops"
"It's a girl, we're having a girl!"
"I'm sorry"
That's when Lizzie started crying.
"I'm not mad I'm so happy"
"Lizzie,marry me"
"Oh for GOD SAKE NOT A GOOD TIME BABE, THERE'S A HUMAN COMING OUT OF MY VAGINA"
then another contraction hit, and she started to push.
After 10 seconds were up the doctor looked at the couple.
"You have some hugs and kisses saved up cause next push your baby will be here"
Julian and Lizzie laughed and nodded.
"Okay now push, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, Detective Needham look down"
Lizzie looked down and saw her daughter being put onto her chest. Screaming and crying.
"Oh my god oh my god hello little one" Lizzie sobbed as she looked at her little girl.
Lizzie looked over at her friends. Jasmine was sobbing holding Mark's hand, mark was smiling, Dylan was smiling and crying. She looked over at Julian, he was crying, something she never saw in her life.
"Babe she's here" Lizzie sobbed.
"I know she is"
"Congrats you guys"

1 hour later....
Things had calmed down. Lizzie was exhausted but the happiest girl in the world.
"She's so perfect Julian" Lizzie whispered as she kissed her daughter's head.
"I know" he said as he kissed Lizzie's hair.
Everything was quiet, jasmine and her date went home, Dylan was a few doors down from them with his baby.
"Yes" Lizzie said breaking the silence.
"What?"
"You asked me if I would marry you, I'm saying yes" she smiled.
He smiled and kissed Lizzie.
"What shall we name her?"
"I don't know"
"It should be significant to something"
"Well yes"
"Where did we have our first kiss"
"Near Brooklyn bridge"
"We are not naming her brook"
"How about.....Paige"
"Nope"
"Lizzie?"
"What don't blame me"
"How about Ava?"
"Avery"
"That's it Lizzie"
"Hello Avery Jasmine Needham" Lizzie whispered as she kissed her head.
"Would you do it again?"
"Carry her in my stomach all over again if I can, yes, push her out, you're funny"
"How did you know I was in labor ?"
Flashback to 8 hours before Avery was born...
Julian's phone started ringing and picked it up.
"Dylan to what do I owe the pleasure of you calling I'm on my way to work"
"How far are you from Lizzie's?"
"About 10 minuets Why?"
"Turn around"
"Why?"
" you're going to be a dad sometime tonight"
"What do you mean"
"Lizzie's water broke, it's time."
"Seriously"
"Yes seriously"
"OH MY GOD DYLAN I SHOULD HAVE NEVER LEFT I'M TURNING AROUND NOW"

"Let's just say Dylan was a life saver tonight" Julian laughed before kissing Lizzie.
