Chapter 5

Maddie runs downstairs and opens the door. I look from behind her and see a huge group of people. My jaw drops. It looks like the whole school showed up! She invited them in and that's when all chaos blows.

While Maddie is dancing her butt off I'm cleaning everything up. If my dad sees this mess I will have to spend my whole life grounded. While I'm cleaning up I get bumped into my other people. The music is so loud we have had neighbors complain all night I asked Maddie if we should turn it off but she said no. The police are probably on there way. I look around to look around for Maddie and tell her that they all need to go I see random people. Do u even know these people?! I see aground of people who look like they are in there 30's I finally find Maddie. Wow she would be eating away while people all around her are dancing like monkeys. Once I make my way up to her I start yelling over the music.

"Hey! I'm having no fun! Let's stop please?!"

She takes my arm and leads me upstairs. She opens the door to my room and I see a couple making out on my bed.

"WHAT DO YOU LIKE YOUR DOING?!" I yell walking towards the couple. They quickly get up. Their lips are puffy and red and they're cheeks flush red. HA! If they think I'm going to let them get away with this they are wrong. How dare they even touch MY bed?! I look at them in pure hatred.

"W-w-we umm...." The girls tries to find the words to say. The dude beside he clears his throat "well this is my mate and we found each other here and I guess we couldn't...help ourselves." He says looks at her in the corner of his eye. Pfft. "GET OUT!!!!!" I yell. They look taken aback. "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!!!!!" I say quickly. They run to the door slamming it. I then look at Maddie who is looking down.

"I'm sorry I didn't think everything would be this bad. I thought you would like it."

I laugh trying to make it less awkward.

"Don't worry, but let's get these people out of here!" She smiles and we start to clear the place up. Once we finish cleaning it's already 4 AM. Maddie is sleeping on the couch and I'm outside on the porch. ....I was suppose to shift at 12... What happened? As I'm thinking a car pulls up my brother and dad come out of the car and they start running towards me. I stand up and they hug me. "How was the party?" I hear my brother ask "fine." I say back. They finally stop hugging me and my dads face turns serious. "Did you shift?" I frown "...No. I don't know what's wrong. Why didn't i-" my dad cuts me off. "Some times you shift a little bit late. It's okay."
