The Alpha

Chapter 6

Maddie just left and now I'm jogging while listening to 'Becky From The Block' by you got it. Becky G. I don't know why but I like this version better then Jennifer Lopez's. I keep thinking about why I didn't shift... Ugh I need to stop thinking about it. I start speeding up not paying attention to where I'm going. The next thing I know I'm in the woods. Oh, great. I'm lost. I grab my phone out and start to text my dad when I look at the time it's 5:00 PM!!! I have to go to this meeting thing. Apparently an alpha is coming and his pack are coming and we get to 'be friendly' together. To be completely honest I think they are all looking for their mates. I'm just about to text my dad when my phone rings in my hand. It's my dad. I answer it quickly.

"Hello?"

I hear my dad growl 'where are you?!'

"I got lost."

My dad found me after about 30 minutes. We pull up to out house after he game me a huge lecture that I didn't listen to. I jump out of the truck and jog up to the door but before I can open "we have 45 minutes! Get ready!"

I roll my eyes and walk in. I run upstairs and grab a black crop top that says blah blah blah in white. I grab se high waisted skinny jeans and my Jordan's. I put my hair in a messy bun put in a little mascara and BAM! I start my way downstairs

"Dad I'm ready let's go!!!"

He comes running out of his room and grabs his keys.

"Where's Adam?"

"his friends bringing him."

We arrive at this...mansion? Well it's huge so let's just call it a mansion. I walk out of the truck to see a crowd of girls squealing and laughing. I roll my eyes and start walking towards the 'mansion' with my dad beside me. I get a call I quickly come to a stop and answer my phone.

"NICOLE!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I hear Maddies voice scream over the phone I turn around, my back facing the building and tell her where I am. After a few seconds she starts running towards me.

"Come in soon." My dad says taking a step into the building.

"Okay."

I start walking towards Maddie past a group of screaming girls.

"Why the f*** are they screaming?"

She points towards the building "the alpha, duh." I roll my eyes and walk in.

Wow it's huge. And what's that smell. Mmmm....smells like mint. I start walking towards the smell as it gets stronger and stronger. I start to hear a growl and I look up and as soon as I see the sexy- I mean man in front of me I gulp. It's the alpha.
