Chapter 16

When I wake up I see that my head was laying on Matt's chest. I look up at Matt to find him asleep. I sigh I didn't even get to finish the movie. I sit completely up and look around for something to do. Ooo I think as I look at the kitchen and then back at Matt. Why not have a little bit of fun... UI make my way towards the kitchen and look in the refrigerator...nothing much all healthy food...I shrug and grab a glass of water...I face the back of the couch so if Matt opens his eyes he won't see me immediately. I let out a big breath. I tilt the water over Matts back he groans and moves over. I bite the insides of my cheeks so I don't laugh as I start to pour the rest of the water on Matt's face. I sit the glass down and start to giggle as he get's up and looks towards me. I start running up the stairs and I look back to see him chasing me . I run to the closest door and run in and hurry to close it. I lock the lock and Matt violently shakes the knob.

"Haha very funny," he says mockingly "I'm going to get you back."

"I don't think so."

I start laughing aloud remembering his reaction.

After awhile it's silence and I assume that Matt is away and has given up on opening the door. I slowly open the door and peek out of the crack. The coast is clear. I walk slowly and look down stairs...no Matt where did he go?

Before I can do anything else she felt a cool blast of water on her back. She turned around and saw Matt and other pack members of his holding water guns. Really? This is so not fair. I start running down the stairs and can hear the loud footsteps behind me. Hoqw am I going to get out of this one? I run outside and look behind me they stoped chasing me..whew.. For some reason I feel like they haven't given up so I climb up the tallest tree.

About a minute later I hear footsteps coming towards me

"Where do you think she went?"

"She's a good hider."

I hear some of the pack members say. I haven't even met any of the pack members yet and they are already doing crazy stuff. I'm out numbered. I start to move around because I start to feel uncomfortable. Seconds later a little girl under the tree is looking up at me with a big grin of her face she looks around 6. She has the same green eyes as Matt and her blonde hair is in a cute braid on her shoulder. I put a finger over my mouth and she nods. She walks a different direction.

"I give up." I hear one of the pack members say

"Okay, Nicole..come out and we will put the water guns away." I hear Matt say

Yeah right. I bet as soon as I come out they will start to shoot me with water... I look around and see the little girl looking my direction. She smiles at me I give her a friendly smile back and mouth the word 'help' she nods

"I THINK I HEARD A NOISE FROM OVER HERE!" she yells at the top of her lungs. The group starts to head in the direction she was pointing. While they head that way she comes over to the tree.

"You want this?" She asks holding up the small water gun.

I smile and jump down from the tree.

"what's your name?"

"Rosie."

"I'm Nicole."

We can hear footsteps and we run to the closest bush and hide behind it.

"Okay so what's the plan?" She asks

"Okay I'm going to squirt them while they aren't looking and then we run."

My heart starts pounding. This will be fun.
