That's what Jasper Madlock found himself doing to protect the woman he'd fallen in love with. Persia has finally had her body back but was suffering for the crimes Mia had done using her body. Sure she was innocent and had absolutely no control over her body during those murders but a picture or better yet a video was worth a thousand words. Without any evidence showing the spirit leaving Persia's body the only choice left was to run. Jasper and Persia have started a family but being on the run has caused them to be way more overprotective than the average parent. They find themselves having to constantly look over their shoulders and Jasper is tired. Sure he put himself in this position and he'd do it all over again if it meant being with the love of his life. He just wants her to be able to have a normal life and he'll stop at nothing to fight for her and get vindication.
