That same night...
Omniscient
"Baby come in here and let me sing to you..." Persia told Jasper who leaned up against the doorframe with his arms folded and a smile on his face watching her. The two locked eyes from across the bedroom and it took everything in her not to blush as she tried to keep her "serious" face while trying to express her love to him.
"I swear if this that muthafuckin' Joe "I Wanna Know" I'm walking smooth the fuck out P." Jasper told her knowing that she loved the song and wore it out every chance she got. If was their song.
"It's not though." Persia told him as he stepped into the room closing the door behind him.
"Push play then." He told her nodding towards the stereo and she smiled hurrying across the room excited to sing it to him. That was one thing she never failed to do. Express her love to him. He'd sacrificed so much for her and she was grateful for him although she couldn't help but feel guilty for letting him choose her. She never asked him to but she still hated the feeling.
She pushed play and when the beat dropped Jasper walked towards the door to leave.
"Babe wait!" She laughed jogging over to him grabbing his hand pulling him back.
"I told you I wasn't listening to this tonight Persia." He cracked a smile shaking his head ash she continued pulling him towards her before she let his hand go. She cleared her throat.
"It's amazing how you knock me off my feet..." She sung to him pointing back and forth between them.
"Here you go man." He looked off to the side as he burst out laughing at her.
"Every time you come around me I get weak.." She sung doing the milly rock that he hated so badly. She only did it to get underneath his skin.
