Omniscient

As Mia's nostrils flared hearing Jasper on the phone discussing the kids with Persia her eyes lit up. She quickly closed them hoping they'd return to normal. When she got this upset it was something that would always happen. Lately she'd been controlling her temper because she was trusting Jasper. She wasn't controlling him the way she could have because she let him go places without her. She'd put a GPS tracker on his car but she knew Jasper was slick. She was just trusting him not to be so she didn't pop up to where it said he was located. He still spent time with his children. He still got to go hang out with his boys and see his family. She wasn't keeping him trapped in the house like she had the first few days after he'd moved in. The vibe she was getting from him wasn't one that was deceitful but one that felt genuine. Getting that vibe from him and feeling loved she allowed herself to be vulnerable with him but not too vulnerable. Her attitude depended on his vibe and actions.

She'd been nice enough to let Dominique go when that was something she never let a person do. Once she'd had it planned in her head to kill someone she always went through with it. Back then when she was in someone else's body if she wanted someone dead she killed them. But now? Something was different about her. Something she'd discovered months after being reincarnated. She'd discovered that she had the ability to control a person just from looking them in the eyes. The ability to mesmerize. By mesmerizing them she could get them to do whatever she wanted. She'd tried so hard over the last few weeks to make Jasper fall in love with her which was why he always found himself staring into her eyes unable to take them off of her. She couldn't do so because love had to come naturally. That frustrated her because it was what she wanted from him more than anything.

No matter how much he ignored it Jasper knew that he was developing a soft spot for her. Lately his acting had been a little too good because sometimes it wasn't acting. Back then it was Mia's personality and vibes that he'd fallen in love with when she was inside of Persia. When she'd crossed over and he'd gone on the run with Persia it was like trying to get to know her all over. He knew her face but he didn't know her. It was like trying to fall in love all over again. He didn't regret it because he was in love with Persia beyond words. He'd move mountains for her if he could but in seeing the genuine side of Mia he'd forgotten what was supposed to be an act and what was his real feelings.

"I'll take the kids out for ice cream tomorrow. See them then." Jasper told Persia before ending the call. He wanted so badly to tell her he loved her but he knew that Mia was listening to every single word. Looking over her shoulder Mia saw the smile on his face and got up grabbing her car keys.

"Where you going?" Jasper asked knowing not to touch her.

"Out." She told him heading for the front door. His heart started to race because he didn't know where she was going. Since he'd been living with her it seemed like she didn't have a reason to leave the house at night because she had everything she needed and wanted. A "family". Her deciding to head out all of a sudden raised red flags for Jasper. He wondered if she was about to go to his house. He wondered what she was thinking. You could never really tell what was on her mind because she could be deceiving sometimes.

"I'll grab Karlee and come with you. I don't want you out like this." He told her trying to keep an eye on her.

"What part of I'm going out aren't you understanding?" Mia raised an eyebrow placing her hand on the doorknob. "Don't worry I'm not going to hurt anybody if that's what you're thinking. I need some air." She rolled her eyes walking out the door.

She'd left the house and decided to drive around for a little while to try to clear her mind but instead ended up at Liam's house. She put on her black gloves and grabbed the box cutter. She then threw her hood on her head and got out of the car walking towards his house. As she made it to the front door she started to ring the doorbell over and over and over. She was angry about so many things and in being angry she resorted back to her old ways. Liam snatched the door open to curse her out for disturbing him and his company but before he could get a word out Mia slashed his throat with the box cutter and his blood got on her face. As he grabbed his throat and started to choke on his own blood she ran back to the car and got inside. Starting the car she pulled out of the driveway and quickly pulled off down the street before she could be seen or her license plate number.

As she sped off into the night Liam lay on the floor fighting to survive while the woman he'd had over tonight screamed for someone to help while on the phone with 911. She was trying to slow down the bleeding until help arrived but it was too late.

He was gone.
