Part 23

The broccoli kid who had been trembling earlier reached out his hand to help me up, and I accepted his assistance. Once I was off of the ground I looked around to see who had helped release me from the guys hold. It took a second because of the crowd, but I saw Bird boy and this octopus dude holding Bomb boy down.

I quickly thanked the broccoli headed boy for helping me up, then excused myself to go thank the two others who had helped me. I walked over to them and sent Bomb boy to the void so that they didn't have to worry themselves over him getting free. I reached out my hand for the octopus dude first, and he took my hand and I helped him up. Then I looked at Bird boy with my outstretched hand towards him now. He accepted my help and stood up.

"Thank you both for helping me get the ticking time bomb off of me," I said. Octopus boy said, "It was no problem." Bird boy nodded his head in agreement with octopus boys answer. Then the human octopus waved and started to head into the group of students.

Aizawa sensei started walking in my direction, so I didn't move to join the other students. Once he reached us he looked slightly to my right, so I turned my head to the side a bit to see what he was looking at. I realized Bird boy was still there, but I didn't really care so I turned to face Aizawa sensei again. Taking the notion that I didn't care he was here he started to speak, "Why didn't you just send him into your void thing?" I just shrugged and looked to the side to avoid eye-contact. It was quiet for a second before he raised his voice to get everyone's attention and spoke, "Alright lets go inside. First go change into your normal uniforms, then head to your next class."

Everyone listened and started heading to the locker rooms to get changed. I went into the boys' locker room, and grabbed my normal uniform then exited the locker room. After I left the locker room I started heading to the guys' bathroom to change in a stall like I did earlier. I left the restrooms, and went back to the locker room just to put my gym uniform away. There were still a few other students lingering in the locker room, so I knew I wasn't going to be late.

I walked through the hallways silently not wishing to disturb any of the classes in session. I reached my classroom and entered it as quietly as possible, then headed to the back to lean against the wall again. A few students were coming in here or there for a couple of minutes until everyone was present and sitting at their desks.

Our next teacher walked in, and it turned out to be Present Mic. When he walked in he waved at us and said, "Hey, some of you may know me as Present Mic the sound hero, but please just call me Yamada sensei. I look forward to seeing you all grow as heroes through the years that you will be attending UA high, but you still have to take common courses such as math, science, language arts, and history. Though, you guys got lucky, and now you have me as your language arts teacher." Some students smiled and waved back, and others (broccoli kid) started mumbling and fanboying. Broccoli kids mumbling caused bomb boy to light a fuse, and he started yelling at him.

Just looking around the class anyone could tell everyone was already fed up with his constant yelling and fighting. I got ready to intervene, when Yamada sensei yelled, "SHUSH!" As a side effect if his quirk and open personality his voice is already loud when he's talking, so him yelling hurt everyone's ears but no ones bled. His yelling also caused Bomb boy to shut his trap so everyone was pretty happy about him shutting up.

After that Yamada sensei got started on our first assignment of the year. For this assignment we all had to individually make a presentation about ourselves, and what we want to achieve through being a hero. Thus task seemed pretty easy in my eyes, but looking around a lot of the other kids seemed to have deflated after hearing about our task. To make things easier on us Yamada sensei passed out a work sheet to help us organize our thoughts and gave us good tips on what to really focus on in our presentation.

Once he finished passing out the papers the school bell rung, and he said, "Ok, that was the lunch bell. Since it is your first day here I will lead you all to the cafeteria, after that your on your own to find where to sit and such." He moved to the door and told us to get into a line. I waited for everyone else to line up before getting into the back of the line. Once I got in line he opened the door, and lead us to the cafeteria. He stood to the side holding the door open for us as we entered, and waved to us as we walked by him. Before entering I stopped, and said, "Thank you Yamada sensei, and I hope you have a nice day." Then I walked into the cafeteria to grab something to eat.
