The two of us (Bird boy and I) stand there for a minute or so then more heroes and medics arrive. The heroes quickly run into the building while a few medics rush to check on us, and we tell them that we had not been harmed. Once the medics left I quickly went back to my other classmates, and said 'Ok, so heroes and medics have arrived. Would you all like to come out now?' There were a few nods around the group so I just warped all of us out. The medics were surprised by our sudden appearance, and for a second thought we were the villains trying to escape. Until they recognized Thirteen, my uniform, and that everyone else is in their superhero costumes. Then they came up to check in on everyone and found that no one was really injured (causing then to slightly relax). While they were doing quick checks over everybody police cars swarmed the front of the building.
Thirteen walked up to the officers' cars to inform them of what they needed to know. Their discussion was very brief, then the officers entered the building to see what they could do to assist the pros who were already inside. I just went back to standing by Bird boy. 'I really need to stop calling this good acquaintance that name, have we properly introduced ourselves to each other yet? ... OH MY GLOB!!! WE HAVEN'T INTRODUCED OURSELVES TO EACH OTHER YET, AND THAT AWKWARD MOMENT WITH "FLIRTING"!!! ... I want to die... but like we already know each others names because of teachers saying it and stuff... NO, I must keep up with formalities. Besides he has been extremely kind and patient with my weird self,' I mentally screamed at myself. I pull myself together before quickly putting my right foot out and rotating on it, so that I am directly facing him.
He seemed between confused and surprised by my sudden movements. I looked him in the eyes while saying, " I am extremely sorry, but it has occurred to me that we have never formally introduced ourselves (even though we have had multiple encounters). So, I would like to introduce myself as, (L/N) (F/N)." He looked up at me slightly surprised, then he said, "Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you, and may I introduce myself as Tokoyami Fumikage." Once he introduced himself I held my hand out for another handshake. He firmly gripped my hand, and we shook hands.
We let go of our handshake and we looked around us. He slightly chuckled and said, "It's amusing, how both of us just performed such formalities in face of the madness surrounding us." I chuckled as well understanding hits statement then said, "Well, everyday everyone is doing such formalities, and this madness is constantly happening. We hear about it everyday on the news, and media. So, this madness has become normal to us. Huh, does that make us mad?"
