Once I arrive home I head to the kitchen to decide what I will make for dinner. After looking at what we have I decide to make chicken & rice. Quickly grabbing what I need I start getting the dish together. After about an hour everything was ready so I got two bowls out and put two scoops of rice, 3-4 pieces of chicken, diced and cooked carrots, and peas in each bowl.
I took the bowls to the dinning room table and sat them in front of two adjacent chairs. I sat in front of the bowl furthest from the door, then took out my phone to check the time. 'It is about 6 o'clock, so I gotta entertain myself for about another 15 minutes.' I continued to play on my phone till I hear the front door open.
I stand up to go great my mother, only to see my dad. We stare at each other for a minute till I realize I'm still in my school uniform and I look down at it. Once my gaze leaves his he also notices it, and looks at it disapprovingly. "You could be a great villain, if you didn't listen to the irrational thoughts of society," he stated.
We stood in silence for a moment. Then I spoke, "I chose this path because your ideas are irrational. Now, my mother will be arriving home soon and you did not inform her that you would like to visit me, so would you please exit from the premises?" "It's nice to see you still know manners. Anyways I'll be going now, though I get the feeling we will be seeing each other again fairly soon," he stated, then left.
I went back to sit at the dinning room table, but before I could pull my chair back out I heard the door open again. "(Y/N), I'm home," called my mom. I quickly redirected myself towards the door again. "Hey mom, dinner is ready and waiting on the table, today I have prepared for us a magnificent meal of, drum role please, chicken &rice," I declared. "Aw, thank you so much. Honestly how would I get by with-out my little gentleman? Anyways, before I eat I'm going to go quickly change into something more comfortable, then we feast," she said before heading to her room.
