Chapter 23

Sebastian, "Are you feeling ready now?"

Anna, " Way more."

Taking in one more look at her masterpiece

Anna," Let's go and give them a show of a lifetime!"

Both began to head towards the opening leading towards the arena. Many unfamiliar faces looking at them as they made their way towards the center. Some faces were friendly looking while others were not. At this point she was feeling anxious, a little mad and excited because of the fact that they wouldn't know what's coming. She never liked to show her true intentions and that was most of the time. She knew it was best to not show your true feelings especially at a time like this. Finally, Sebastian and Anna were in the middle of the arena.

Slamie and Desmond beginning to head towards the center, they both dressed of purple armor. It was nothing as luxurious as Anna's armor, it was more padded looking with metal around their arms, chest, and legs. Desmond seemed to hand Slamie some type of device that of a makeshift microphone. It was a hard shell of some sort covered with ribbons of all the majestinian abilities. It seemed to cling to this shell. Slamie took it and began to talk to it,

Slamie, "The rules are simple, Duel ends when someone gives up or has more damage than the other team. Either or, Understood?"

Everyone began to clap and chant.

Slamie, "Duel begins when the queen drops the iron coin."

Everyone looked at the queen except Anna. She only looked at her for what may have been for seconds before the queen dropped an iron coin.

Anna and Sebastian are situated in a fighting stance. Slamie decides to throw the first hit. She hit Anna with a powerful blow of magic light, she threw several more at Anna as she dodged every single one. That's it! Anna thought she was only trying to embarrass me in front of her queen. Not today!  Anna began to move her hands in a series of loops and charged at Slamie as vines sprouted towards her grabbing Slamie's hands. Meanwhile, she was doing this. Desmond was already in a heated full-on battle with Sebastian. He was giving Desmond a series of hits and blows with combat fighting hand to hand and with his powers.

He managed to throw him when Anna began going towards Slamie as she began to charge at her at full speed. Suddenly the ground began to shake Slamie tried to keep Anna in place but she cut off the vines by pulling and ripping them. Slamie not knowing what to do began to try freeing herself by cutting off the vines. Slamie got her two hands-free as she began to free her legs. Taking her sword out Slamie began to charge at Anna but she was quicker than Slamie and struck at her with a blow to her sword. They pranced a lot before Slamie knocked off the sword from Anna's grip. Anna summoned a weapon of her choice as her arm began to ignite.

The crowd began to look at Anna in awe.

Her eyes glowed with purple color as a whip formed on her right hand. Slamie was running up to Anna when she spun a whip and struck Slamie on the face. Anna struck once again at her feet making her trip, before a blob of light the color blue hit Anna and she was hurt and knocked down.  Her whip returned to her cuff as it disintegrated into yellow light and into her cuff. Meanwhile, Sebastian and Desmond were in their own fight, Desmond came towards Sebastian with a yellow light that hit Sebastian. Sebastian began to charge at him throwing a series of kicks turns and punches at Desmond. Sebastian hit him with a darker blue light as he knocked him off of his feet. Sebastian began to hit him as it became a wrestling fight. On the other side, Slamie began to hit Anna with her hands causing bruises at her chest and arms. Anna took one of her arms and pinned it to her back and hit the back of Slamie's knees. 

Anna, "Surrender"

Anna said to Slamie.

Slamie was not going to show defeat and returned the saying with,

Salmie, " Never"

With that said Anna turned her over and began to throw punches as it soon turned into wrestling. They both got into headlocks when Anna had one hand on Slamie's Arm and used her abilities to inflict a painful shot of pain towards her arm.

 Slamie let go of her arm on Anna and pushed herself off of her only to get up in a fighting stance. Anna made a ball of red which turned into electricity as she threw it at Slamie, that for sure should knock her out. It for sure did because Slamie was about to throw a small orb of blue towards her as she dodged it and went out. Deciding to help Sebastian out, not that he needed it at all. Anna threw a deep light at Desmond as she came towards Sebastian. She kicked Desmond on the back of his knees as he fell down. She took her hand and placed it near his collar bone to knock him out. Sebastian came over to her.

Sebastian, " You already took Slamie out?!"

Taking a deep breath

Anna, "Yeah.."

On the corner of his eye Sebastian noted Slamie moving only to form an orb of yellow light thrice its size and struck Anna before Sebastian could say anything. 

Sebastian, "Ann-"

Getting hit with the orb Anna went back a few feet as Sebastian took initiative in hitting back at her. Anna blinked her eyes, she felt weak and she knew she couldn't let Slamie win this fight. This was her fight from the start, she had to get up no matter what. She blinked her eyes as she laid there and began to move her feet and arms.

She had some injuries and bruises along with some scratches and cuts. Her armor was slightly damaged but it was not too bad. She was not going to let these people think she isn't strong enough to be their queen. Getting up slowly from the ground and panting, she made her way towards Sebastian. Slamie was already throwing double kicks and punches at Sebastian as he hit her with punches at his chest.
Anna got mad as she got closer and unleashed a mix of her powers letting out both hands as white light shot throughout her body. The ground shook as the wind picked up from all sides ad Anna became a big ball of light. Slamie was pushed back and gravely hurt when Anna neared in closer to her and attacked her. 

Anna, "One more hit and you're done. Surrender now."

Hurt gravely by Anna's abilities she needed some time to respond as she took deep breaths.

Slamie, " I surrender"

As soon as those words were said the crowd went wild.

Anna walked towards Sebastian as someone announced that they surrendered and that Anna and Sebastian won the duel. A series of healers began to approach the arena.

Sebastian, "Anna you don't look so good."

Anna, "Bash I'm gonna---"

Collapsing onto Sebastian's arms as all her energy drained her body as she grew weak. She could do nothing more than close her eyes.
