Chapter 6

Anna, "What?! It's like I'm not me! I'm someone else! What else are you not telling me, Max ..... " Walking closer to her Max went overtaking her hands in his.

Max, "Relax, come downstairs and I will explain everything over breakfast." 

Deciding on the thought of breakfast and getting some answers she decided she'll wait for answers at breakfast. Looking at Max  still holding her hands she said,

  Anna," Ok! but you're telling me EVERYTHING and also about why you told me to keep the jewelry on and who those people are that came into my room." 

Max, "Ok, Ok, EVERYTHING, now let's go, I bet Mary is waiting for us downstairs." 

 Max let loose of Anna's hands as he quickly grabbed a grey T-shirt from the corner of his bed and put it. Both exited his room into the hallway as he led the way towards the dining room where they previously had dinner.

 Max and Anna entered the dining room as Mary emerged from the kitchen laying out breakfast on the table. Breakfast consisted of bacon, eggs, pancakes with Nutella, chocolate muffins, and some orange juice.  Noticing the Nutella was from her "dimension" she asked Mary if it was Max's doing of bringing it to his house.  Anna didn't even have to ask because Max began to mention it.

  Max,  "  And yes, I love Nutella soo much I occasionally bring loads of it to my house from "earth" as you may call it now"  

Placing down the food from a tray Mary said,

Mary," Good Morning you two, hope you both rested well last night." 

Looking up she noticed Annabeth's change in appearance setting down a pitcher of juice carefully, she walked towards Annabeth.

Mary," Oh my heavens! You look... You look... So different, not bad different. Good different. Annabeth!! you look stunning! What a beautiful transformation!" She smiled at Anna as she gave her a hug.

Annabeth felt a little weird receiving the attention she was getting but found herself to say,

Anna, "I'm speechless about it, also Good Morning Mary!" 

As Mary came close to Anna she hugged her and pulled away from the hug taking a good look once more at Anna. She had never seen a transformation like hers before. 

  Max," Shocking isn't it!"

Mary, "I have never seen a transformation like this" 

Grabbing a plate about to load it with food.  

 Anna," I'm sorry but can you guys explain to me what is happening? I feel like I'm not me Mary, I'm confused as to why I'm here, Why do I look like this? And, Who were those people in my bedroom yesterday?!"  

A tear escaped her eye all she wanted was for these questions to be answered.

Mary took a deep breath looking towards Anna as she sat down.

  Mary, "You are going through a phase Anna, Your appearance will be enhanced and you will be given abilities like no other. Your life is about to change, completely. I know it's hard to take in honey but we are here to help you."

Anna," What do you mean? I'm confused, I don't want to be someone else?!" 

 Tears managed to escape her eyes as she became even more confused. Abilities? Enhanced appearance? She didn't want any of it and she didn't understand it.

Anna," I'm sorry"

Anna wiped away tears from her face as she left the dining room table going up the stairs to her room. 

Max," Anna! Wait!"

 Once she entered her bedroom, she was shedding tears. She closed the door as she went out to her balcony wanting some fresh air. Why was she even here she asked herself, feeling confused she decided to wash her face as she knew how muggy she felt after crying. Closing the balcony door, she made way to the bathroom to wash her face with cold water. Catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror she felt weird looking at the reflection. Looking at the girl in the mirror she began to examine her heightened features in the mirror. Having examined enough she left the bathroom to lay down on her bed growing tired from overthinking.

 Five minutes later, 

*Knock* 

  *Knock*  

Max stood at her bedroom door opening it as he walked in with a tray floating with food. Walking in he noticed her laying down on her side facing the balcony. Setting down the floating tray of food on a table in her room, he walked over to her sitting down on the edge of the bed.

  Max," I'm sorry for not telling you everything since we arrived, I know you're confused and I promised I would tell you everything. I know it was a big day yesterday and all I wanted was for you to have a good birthday but its time you knew about the truth. Ps. I brought you some food, I know your hungry."

He teased her with the food as he made the tray appear on the bedside table with a swift move of his hands. She lifted her head as she looked at the tray as it appeared on her bedside table. She had so many questions to ask Max, Although she was scared of the answers she would receive in return.

  She sat up on her bed and grabbed the tray of food as she began to eat some of the food. When she was almost done she pushed it aside and managed the courage to ask all the questions that were engulfing her brain.

 Anna, "W-what kind of "changes" will happen to me? Why where those men coming after us? What kind of abilities? Why am I wearing this jewelry?!! What does it mean?! Who else might want to come after me, Max?!"

She began crying again as Max took her in his arms embracing her in a hug as she cried over his shoulders. Of course, she should cry?! She was confused and going through changes that were very different from normal! Mary entered the room with a cup of warm chamomile tea as Max pulled away from Anna. Mary came over towards her giving her a mug. Sitting next to Anna she decided it was time to tell Annabeth everything,

  Mary," I think it's time Max and I answer your questions and tell you about all the prophecies and everything else."

Max, "Here  drink this it will make you feel better, watch this." 

Max snapped his fingers like a big bar of chocolate appeared in Anna's hands. He knew how much she loved chocolate during stressful times. 

Anna, " That was cool." she said with sight wet eyes.

Mary left the room saying,

 Mary, "I'll be right back I have to get something" 

About five minutes later Anna was done eating half of the chocolate as Mary came into the room with a box. The box looked as if it were made of glass and silver with gold-colored gears and flowers just like her birthday gifts, except they where different colored flowers. There where purple, blue, red, yellow, and green...
