「 Chapter 5: Run Away to see Another Day 」
The three former runners sprinted pass the door they previously entered. Closing the door in a rush, two of the creatures that were right behind them screeched against the door that was held closed by the trio. Lia grunted feeling them push against the door trying to get to them.
"Hold it down!" Minho told the two, starting to move to the side.
"What?" Thomas turned to the asian, struggling to keep the door closed as the creatures continued to push harder against the metal.
"Hold it down!"
Lia avoided looking at the two creature's faces against the glass and called out to her friend who ran to the corner against some sort of cabinet. "Minho, what are you doing?"
Minho let out a scream, using as much of his strength to push the cabinet over. "Watch out! Watch out!" Thomas grabbed onto Lia, moving them away from the falling metal furniture that dropped to the ground. It kept the door closed and the two creatures in the other room.
The three turned hearing more screams and started running once more. Lia jumped over a knocked over metal barrel, trying to get as far away from the noises as much as possible. She ran up an old escalator, hearing Thomas and Minho screaming to hurry up.
The thought of Newt and the others came across her mind and she began pushing herself to move faster. Her legs ached but she simply ignored it as she rounded the corner. From a far distance she could see the silhouette of all the boys and Teresa and she began screaming at them.
"Guys! Run!" Lia yelled to get their attention. "Newt! Winston!"
Not too far behind her were Minho and Thomas who also started to yell for the others, their flashlights beaming in different directions as they ran. A round of screeches sounded off from behind them indicating that the creatures were getting closer. The others saw this and began to move their feet in panic and fear.
