Yeah another Crossmare. ._.

Cross's POV

I was blind in one eye. I couldn't see much well. I kept walking until I bumped into someone. "Watch where your going," I looked up to see a goopy skeleton.

"I-I'm Sorry." I muttered. "Are you blind?" I looked up. I nodded. "If you don't mind. Can I go with you to where your going. I have nowhere to go anyways..." I mumbled.

He looked surprised. People would usually fear him. "Alright. My name is Nightmare. From now on your in my crew." Nightmare said simply as he held my hand. "My name is Cross." I Said.

I blushed faintly as his touch. It was so cold. Yet so warm... I then kept walking as Nightmare guided me to some manison house.

"What is this?" I asked. "Where you're gonna live." My eyesockets widen. He went in. "Hey who's the new kid?"

"His name is Cross." I nodded. The skeleton then went towards me trying to stab me but I'm a sensoring type so I instantly blocked it with my summoned knife.

"Great. Anyways my name is Dust. The others are Horror and Killer and Error." Said Dust. I nodded. Nightmare then lead me to my what I assumed my room.

"You can get settled there." Nightmare simply said lazily as he began walking away. "W-Wait!" He then stopped and turned. "T-Thank you." I Said feeling a bit flustered.

Nightmare blushed faintly glaring at me as he then walked away.

"You stupid little brat." Cross whimpered as he cowered into the corner. "You'll never learn don't you? I will always find you. No matter where you hide." X said simply as he grabbed me by the collar and had a syringe.

"No...PLEASE... someone... HELP!" Cross screamed.

Cross woke up sweating intensely. Cross felt scared. Then he ever been. He then opened the door. Watching to take a fresh breather. It was so dark.

No light could penetrate even if it tried. Cross sighed. Feeling tears escape from his eyesockets. He slowly started to sob. That nightmare...

He then froze when he saw a blue cyan eye. Staring at him in the darkness. "What are you doing at this time of night?" Cross looked up at him. Purple tears glistening in the dark.

"I had a nightmare..." Cross Said simply. "And I couldn't sleep. So I decided to take a breather." Said Cross. "What was it about?" Nightmare asked keeping his eyesocket closed while the other half open. Lazily listening to his dream.

"I don't want to talk about it." Cross muttered. "I see..." Nightmare answered. Cross than began to sob. "I-I'm sorry if I'm wasting anyone's time... I just can't help it." Cross Said terribly sobbing tears falling out of his eyesockets.

He kept sobbing as Nightmare then softly caressing Cross's face. "Don't cry." Said Nightmare. Cross couldn't help it. Nightmare always wonder what monsters and humans are so vulnerable.

Yet he used to be once. So he was no different. He then picked up Cross and carry him bridal style to his room.

He then shut the door as he softly put Cross down on his bed. He lied down next to him. Cross was still crying. He then wrapped his arms around him pulling him closer to him.

He used to sing this to Dream whenever he was crying. Nightmare softly hummed a tone. It got Cross's attention. Purple tears still surrounding his eyesockets.

Cross than kept listening to the melody and rhythm of his tone. Cross than buried his face into his jacket.

Cross than slowly drifted off to sleep. Knowing he was safe.

Nightmare looked at him. He was feeling tired himself. Cross was trembling. Another nightmare. Nightmare slowly casted off the dream. Leaving Cross feeling relaxed and at ease.

Nightmare sighed. "N-Nightmare." Nightmare looked at him. Cross was mumbling his name in his sleep. "I love you..." Cross mumbled again. This caught Nightmare off guard.

Nightmare chuckled as he kissed Cross's temple. "Love you to. Now sleep." Said Nightmare. "As long as I'm here. You'll be safe." Nightmare whispered softly as he than closed his eyesockets and drifted off to sleep.
