Nightmare came in the room seeing Cross across the room.get it?

"Cross I can explain."

"Save it."

"I saved every letter you wrote me" Said Cross as he moved closer to Nightmare.

"From the moment I saw you" Cross made a small smile.

"I knew you were mine" Cross looked up.

"You said you were mine" Cross sadly looked at him.

"I thought you were mine" Said Cross sadly as he moved away from him.

"Do you know what Ink said" Cross muttered still smiling.

"When I told him what you'd done?
He said" Cross growled.
"You have married an Icarus
He has flown too close to the sun"

Nightmare took a step forward.

"Don't take another step in my direction" Cross snapped.

"I can't be trusted around you" Cross seethed.

"Don't think you can talk your way
Into my arms, into my arms" Cross glared at him as Nightmare frowned.

"I'm burning the letters you wrote me" Cross smiled again as he held the letters.

"You can stand over there if you want" Cross smirked.

"I don't know who you are" Cross's tone got louder.

"I have so much to learn" His tone got lower as he moved to the fire place.

"I'm re-reading your letters" Cross glaring at the letters.

And watching them burn (burn)

Nightmare's eyesockets widen. As the letters burned into a crisp.

"You published the letters she wrote to you" Cross shouted.

"You told the whole world" Cross shouted again angrily.

"How you brought this girl into our bed" Cross seethed again as tears rolled down his eyes.

"In clearing your name, you have ruined our lives!" Cross glared at him as tears kept flowing.

"Heaven forbid someone whisper" Cross Mocked.

"He's part of some scheme"

"Your enemy whispers" Cross moved to Nightmare as he whispered in his non-existent ear.

"So you have to scream" he whispered.

"I know about whispers" he made a small smirk again as he proceeded.

"I see how you look at my sister" guess who it is Nightmare's eyesockets widen as he tried to say something.

"Don't" Cross snapped pushing Nightmare away.

"I'm not naive" Cross sighed.

"I have seen women around you"  Cross muttered.

"Cross-"

"Don't" Cross scowled.

"Think I don't see How they fall for your charms" Cross felt angry as he began to scowl at him.
"All your charms" Cross laughed.

"I'm erasing myself from the narrative
Let future historians wonder how Poor Cross reacted" Cross laughed again as he held other letters as he proceeded to walk to the fire place.

"When you broke his heart" Said Cross in a sadly tone.

"You have thrown it all away" Cross growled again.

"Stand back, watch it burn" Nightmare couldn't do anything.
"Just watch it all burn!" But just watch as Cross angrily turned to him again.

"And when the time comes!" Cross shouted.

"Explain to the children" Cross shouted again as his eyesockets brimmed with tears.

"The pain and embarrassment" Cross pointed at him as he gritted his teeth.

"You put their mother through" Cross Shouted at him again  in anger.

"When will you learn" Nightmare looked down in guilt.

"That they are your legacy?" Cross looked at him again as tears fell down his cheekbones once again.

"We are your legacy!?" Cross shouted.

"If you thought you were mine" (mine, mine) Cross growled as he walked away leaving Nightmare alone.

"Don't!" Cross shouted at him as his eyesockets gleamed in anger near the fireplace as it illuminated the dark room. he scowled and ran leaving him alone.
