"Dream why can't you understand? you CANT HELP ME."

"I DONT CARE. CROSS I WANNA HELP YOU!" Dream tried to reach out but Cross retaliated shoving him harshly  to the ground. Dream's pupils looked at him mixed with betrayal.

Cross realized what he did.

"D-Dream i'm..."

Dream couldn't speak. The words he wish to say... 

it cant be spoken.

he was supposed to be there and make sure to be there for him

but it cant stay the same can it?

"Dream?" Cross couldn't move. But the words he let out. Dream only looked away as he tried to stand up. "Cross.. im sorry..." Dream let out as tears flooded his pupils. "I  can't help you... if you can't let me. but... i love you..." Dream shouted.

"It won't.. work. you know that..."

"D-Does it matter? if it won't work. no one doesn't have to say that. Not Nightmare. i Dont care what INK says.." Dream screamed. "Dream- please...-"

"NO!" Dream bursted into tears.

Cross sighed as he tried his best not to break down. He wanted to tell Dream. It can work.

"i want to try... can you blame me?" Dream answered. He held his arm.

Cross was about to leave as he was going out the front door again.

chasing relentlessly...

His wrist got caught. Dream held his wrist. Firm but soft. "Dream-"

"no. i wont let you. Not again" Dream stared at him. 

"Dream. Please." Cross seethed as he tried to let go.

still FIGHT and i don't know why...

Dream crashed into Cross's arms. Hugging him tightly. Cross had nothing to say.

"I can help."

"But i can't. if you can't let me. I will do anything."

love was complicated...

"To be with you." The words left him.

"Dream.. your crazy..." Cross let a laugh. 

This was crazy..

But why can't Cross leave?

Cross slowly wrapped his arms around Dream. Hugging him back.
