"you again?"
when i look up, it was that same person from yesterday. takuya.
"oh hey!"he sits down next to me.
"so i'm guessing you take this train often then?"
"yeah...i commute for work. and this is the easiest way."
"really? so are you one of those office workers that slave away in a cubicle all day?"
i couldn't help but chuckle at his comment.
"is that what you think of office workers?""i mean, i should know. i've been in those cubicles all day."
"ugh, that sounds rough."
takuya sighed dramatically. "it really is."
"well if you must know... i'm not one of those office workers."
"so then what are you, taeyong?"
the way he said my name had sounded so similar to the way yuta would say it. i couldn't help the shivers that ran down my spine, solely from that connection.
"i'm, uh, actually a producer."
"a producer? like a movie producer?"
"no, like, a music producer."
"no way!"
"better believe it," i responded. "what about you?"
"what about me?"
"why do you take this train?" i ask. "is it because of your office job?"
"oh, no. i actually don't have to work in the office anymore. i work from home for the most part now."
"what do you even do?"
"i'm in the i.t stuff... y'know all that techie software stuff."
"maybe you can fix my laptop sometime then. it's frozen all the time."
takuya playfully scowled at my comment.
"you're not the first person to make that joke y'know."
"i figured."
"it's not even a funny joke."
