What I Learned Out On The Road

It Takes Time

Jax POV-

I pound my fist on the oak table.

"We need retaliation on those niggers. We just can't let them come right into Charming and think they can get away with whatever the fuck they want! For Christs sake, Juice could have been killed!"

"Calm Down brother, they will get what they deserve." Chibbs responds. "It's just gonna take some time to get what's coming to them."

Clay knocks the gavel on the wood. Everyone walks out the wooden doors.

Did Clay set that Myan incident up?? Was he tryin to kill one of us, like he killed my dad?

Kelly POV-

I'm sittin behind the bar drinkin my beer. It's about 7:00 P.M. I see all the guys walk out of the room they call church. Jax walks over.

"Can I get you anyt--"

He just hugs me. Grabs me in tight and hugs me. I really have no idea why. He kisses me on the forehead and walks off to his little apartment. I follow him.

"You okay Jax?"

"Yeah, just wanted a hug. That's all darlin'."

I walk out to bar and grab a bunch of beers an head back to Jax's room. Time to get shit-faced drunk again. I turn up the music. It starts playin "Burin' It Down" by Jason Aldean. Then "Photograph" by Nickelback.

Jax holds me as we listen to the music and drink.

I wake up to get ready to go with the club to go see Juice. He's still in the hospital from when he got shot by the Niners. The whole club goes to see him.

"When should he be released?" Jax asked one of the nurses.

"In about a week,Maybe. The bullet damaged his shoulder pretty bad. The docs are going to x-ray his shoulder today to make sure all the bullet pieces are out."

Jax just nods and we walk in Juice's room.

"Hey Juice." I say as we walk in.

"Hey, what's new."

"Eh, nothin. We just came to check on ya."

The nurse came back in the room,

"Theo is going to have to have surgery on his shoulder, there are 4 bullet pieces still in the shoulder. The bullet didn't go all the way through."

She turned around and walked out. Stupid bitch didn't even wait to see if we had any questions. I walk out of the room and grab the nurse and swing her around so now she's facing me.

"What is your-" she starts talking.

"Shut the fuck up, now get your ass back in there and explain to us. We are worried about Juice. I would appreciate it if you could answer some questions." I say to her.

"Alright." She replies.

Juice is going into surgery now. The doctor says his shoulder could be impaired. I guess he means Juice's shoulder won't be the same as before. He will probably have difficulty moving it. Juice comes out of surgery. He's fine. He will just have to go to rehab for 4 months for his shoulder.

Jax walks over to me "Hey darlin' you ready to head back?"

"Yea." I say. I turn to walk out the door and Tara walks into me. We say nothing but exchange deadly glares. I grab Jax's hand and we walk out. "Stupid bitch." I mumble underneath my breath. Jax just laughs at me.

"It's cute when your mad, Kelly."

I just look at him. I try not to smile but I smile anyway. He gives me his helmet and we ride off to the clubhouse.Its almost dark. When we get to the clubhouse there are ambulances and cop cars all over. Lyla, Ops wife, has been shot. Her body is cut up and scattered. Two chainsaws lay there. Blood all over the concrete.

"What the fuck...." I say. I hug Jax.

Me and Jax look at each other in disbelief. Chibs, Tig, Op, and the others pull up behind us. They all stare in shock. Opie drops onto his knees on the ground and cries. Damn second wife of his is gone.Who would do this to Lyla? She's always been so nice. Maybe some one in the Cara-Cara business did this. But why? Could the Niners have done it? Why would they kill an ole lady?
