It had been a day since Hunk had cried, he kept quiet ever since, Chayse has been keeping close tabs on him but also bas been making arrangements for a certain group of friends to visit the previous yellow paladin, although since then, it's been rather quiet for the past few days, Hunk has been kept to himself for a while, it's been long dragging days in their household, but hopefully a small reunion would be able to get Hunk into a better mood or even an idea on where to go on from there. Soon in the evening, when the weather was cooler, Hunk and Chayse were sitting outside when they heard ships flying, at first believing it was a strong wind coming but in reality, it was the ships flying in and soon, Hunk put two and two together and realized it was his friends, Hunk glanced over at Chayse who gave him a soft smile before dragging Hunk to go ahead and greet the other paladins, whom some have been on missions, others occupied. As the couple arrived closer to the landing area, Hunk felt a sudden anxiousness of seeing his old friends after some time. Soon, they can see the visible figure of them, even not being close to the others, Hunk and Chayse can tell who was who. "Hunk!" said a familiar voice, the former yellow paladin smiled as he was hugged by his best friend, Lance Mcclain, Chayse was happy seeing Hunk, being surrounded by love and affection, not just by Chayse but with the friends, he calls family after being up in space for years. As everyone chatted with Hunk and talking to him, Chayse let them be as she began walking away from the group.
In the evening, Hunk had returned being promised that the other paladins will be there tomorrow when he entered the room, he made eye contacts with Chayse, who gave him a soft smile, Hunk plopped down next to his girlfriend, it was a quiet moment between the two till Hunk broke the silence.
"Thank you..." Chayse looked over at him, giving him a confused look, having Hunk let out a laugh, causing Chayse to smile, hearing him laugh and seeing him smile made Chayse feel at ease. Hunk explained how he can't keep things in, and was planning on getting help soon, to help him get through this, even if it been years. Chayse nodded and promised Hunk that she was going to stay by his side and help as much as she can, and will always love him no matter what.
