2- Hazza

Hazza💚: Hey.. can we chat - H

Louis had read the message too many times. 31 to be exact. He scrolled to see the last time Harry texted him. 8 months and 14 days. It had only been a Happy birthday message and Louis hadn't even answered him. He hadn't even opened it til now. He hated how they were now. They used to be so close. Louis didn't even know who Harry was anymore and it bothered him. A lot. A lot more than he was willing to admit, to anyone, including himself.

He wanted to fix it, but it was easier said than done. He couldn't just take back everything he'd done to Harry, no matter how much he regretted it.

Louis knew that even if they tried to fix it, it would never be the same.

Louis had been staring at the message for 14 minutes now and he still didn't know what to say. He really hoped Harry wasn't watching him type and then stop and then type and then stop again and again.

He didn't know how he was supposed to answer. 'Hey Harry I know the last time I saw you I said things that probably made you hate me and really there is an explanation, but hey guess what? I can't tell you, but yeah let's chat about what the fuck is going down today' seemed a little too on the nose.

So he settled on something that summed all that up.

To: Hazza💚: About what?

Okay, so maybe it wasn't the best thing he could come up with, but it was enough.

Louis checked the rest of his messages while waiting for Harry to respond.

Lima Bean🖕🏼: Coming to Z tonight bud?

Lima Bean🖕🏼: You doing good?

Lima Bean🖕🏼: Did management call you?

Lima Bean🖕🏼: Is Ni with you?

Louis loved Liam he really did, but he was always worried about Louis when he was okay. He's a grown-ass man he could take care of himself. He was thankful though, and he knew Liam was just worried because of all the drinking he did last year. But really, he was okay now.

To: Lima Bean🖕🏼: Yes yes yes and yes Liam

Louis didn't have to wait for more than a few seconds to get a response from Liam. Unlike Harry.

Lima Bean🖕🏼: Good, good, okay and good.

Lima Bean🖕🏼: Can you tell him to ring me?

To: Lima Bean🖕🏼: tell him yourself

With that Louis moved onto the next message which was from Niall.

Leprechaun🍀: MANAGEMENT CALL YOU ?

Leprechaun🍀: COMING OVER NOW YOU LAZY ASS

To: Leprechaun🍀: why do you capitalize everything loser

Louis heard Niall yell up "It's my phone, I can do what I want, don't like what you see, leave" mocking Louis' earlier sentence.

Louis was about to respond when his phone dinged.

Hazza💚: Management. Niall said they called you, they called me too. The boys said we're the only ones. What do you think it's about ? - H

Louis might not know Harry like he used to anymore, but he still signed his messages the same and it made Louis smile, because it meant not everything had changed in two years.

To: Hazza💚: idk I guess we'll see at 6 Harry

Louis didn't think about what he said as much that time. He didn't know what he was supposed to say. Or what Harry wanted to hear.
