Just Another Stunt

42- Dream

"Harry! Wait!" Louis yelled making Harry stop a few steps away from the bedroom door, but he didn't turn to face Louis, instead he remained towards the door.

"Look at me," Louis spoke quietly, turning Harry around by his arm, but Harry squeeze his eyes shut. He didn't want to look at Louis, that would only make it worse.

Louis sighed in defeat, taking Harry's hand that hung beside his body into his. He placed small kisses over Harry's knuckles trying to convey some reaction from Harry, but he was greeted with silence. He focused on the hand in his smaller ones before speaking just as quietly as before.

"This is such a bad idea, you know that right? What happens when management tells us that the contact is over and we have to break up?" Louis asked. He had a million questions about how they would ever work and he was sure Harry had the answers to none.

His suspicions was confirmed when Harry continued to stay silence.

"Harry, I don't want to be with you." Louis heard Harry suck in a breathe and try to pull his hand away, but Louis held it tight.

"No listen," Louis sighed, stepping close to Harry, but remaining focused on Harry's hand in his.

"I don't want to be with you, you're the only person that can hurt me and the only person I never want to hurt. If I could just be with anyone else, I would be. If I could function without you. Fall in love without you. But I can't. No one will ever be better than you. And I'm so afraid," Louis kept looking at Harry's hand, even when he felt Harry duck down to kiss the crown of his head.

"I don't have the answers you want. I can't tell you what's going to happen with management and I can't promise anything but myself. Louis, we are going to hurt each other. It'll be small stupid fights that will last all of ten minutes. Or it'll be big fights that'll last days. But if you love me like you say, and I love you, we can make it happen. We can do this. I know that much," Harry pulled his hand out of Louis' to instead raise Louis' head up.

"You just have to tell me if you want to make this work."

Louis stayed quiet once again, but this time he knew his answer. He just didn't know how to tell Harry.

"Harry."

"Louis."

"Let's do it," Louis smiled. Harry stood frozen for a few seconds before a massive dimpled grin broke out on his face.

"What do you want to do Lou?" Harry asked, mostly teasing.

"I want to go on cute random dates and have stupid fights and kiss in the rain and go for walks on the beach and all that other cringy shit that they'd say right now in those awful movies you watch," Louis paused for a moment before continuing, "and I wanna fuck like rabbits."

Harry deadpanned.

"You ruined it. You ruined the whole thing," Harry glared making Louis laugh before pulling him in by his waist for a kiss.

Louis woke up to the smell of strawberries and a face full of curls. An odd thing to be comforted by, but he was. It meant the entire morning hadn't been a dream.

But of course, there is always something waiting to ruin a perfect day.

"Look Louis we need to-" Danielle stopped mid-sentence to take in the sight before her. Her boyfriend, shirtless, laid cuddled up with another shirtless boy.

"Talk," she finished.

"Danielle!" Louis' eyes widened at the sight of his girlfriend.

Louis shifted out from under Harry until he was sat straight up in his bed. Louis and Danielle both watched Harry shift in his sleep until he steeled next to Louis on the bed, still very much asleep.

Louis wanted to approach this entire situation as carful as possible seeing how Danielle could ruin everything with one tweet.

"We need to talk," a furious-sounding Danielle said, crossing both her arms.

Hi little loves, there is only two left after this. This was supposed to be so much longer, but I felt as though you deserved this! Actually, I know you deserved this! I'm so sorry for the wait, you wouldn't believe the shit I'm doing right now! But, I do plan on finishing this and quite soon, but look out for the next book that'll be up right after this one is finish.. still haven't decided which one... I just wanna say how freaking sorry for making you wait for this. I love all of you for being so patient and understanding with me throughout all of this. I love you so much.
