Just Another Stunt

11- Water?

Louis followed Harry into Zayn's house, closing the door behind him.

They entered into Zayn's living room seeing all the boys sitting on the couch, appearing to be in a deep conversation.

"Do you think we should interrupt?" Harry leaned over to whisper to Louis who was close enough to bump shoulders with if he really wanted too.

Louis only shrugged.

"Niall!" Louis yelled out, interrupted the conversation and announcing their presence.

Niall yelped before whipping around to stare then glare at Louis.

"Where have you been?" Niall asked Louis in a motherly tone.

Liam stood up from the couch walking to Harry before laying a hand on his shoulder.

"Can I talk to you in the kitchen please?" Liam asked him.

"About?"

Louis leaned over to Harry before whispering in his ear, "I think he's afraid I beat you up," making Harry laugh.

Everyone in the room was staring at them.

All for different reasons though.

Zayn was still sat on his couch, a very confused look on his face. Liam had a tight grip on Harry's shoulder and Niall was looking at Louis like he had lost his mind.

Louis slapped the forearm of Liam's arm that was still on Harry's shoulder.

"It's okay mate, he's still in one piece," Louis said with a wink.

"Actually, Louis can I talk to you in the kitchen?" Niall asked switching his glaze between Louis and Harry.

"Sure," Louis said with a shrug walking towards the kitchen leaving everyone behind in the living room before Niall rushed to keep up with him.

Once they were in the kitchen, Niall slapped Louis on the back of his head.

"What the fuck Niall?" Louis asked, rubbing the back of his head.

"What the hell happened in that meeting?"

"Management said we are going to stunt," Louis said with little explanation, still more worried about his head that no longer hurt, but Niall didn't have to know that.

"What does that mean?" Niall asked even though he was pretty sure he already knew the logistics of it.

"It means that we'll be a couple in the public eye I guess," Louis shrugged.

"Well, how are you going to do that?" The worry was clear in his voice.

"I don't know Niall," Louis said looking down, letting his hand that had been holding his head fall to his side.

"This means they'll let you come out now right?" Niall said, hoping that would bring up Louis slightly.

"I haven't talked to them about anything like that. I kinda barged out," Louis mumbled, lacing his fingers in front of him and rocking back on the balls of his feet.

While Niall was busy with Louis, Harry was busy explaining the meeting to Liam and Zayn.

"Yeah and then they said it would help the band if we were a stunt," Harry explained walking back and forth in front of the couch where Zayn and Liam were sat.

"This means they can both be out right?" Liam turned to ask Zayn in a hush-hush tone.

"What do you mean both of us?" Harry asked, not understanding how Louis could come out when he'd done everything to make Harry think he was very much straight.

Before Liam or Zayn had a chance to answer, Louis and Niall were walking out of the kitchen.

"I think we need drinks," Zayn announced to the room after a moment of everyone being silent.

Everyone nodded in agreement apart from Louis. He wasn't big into drinking since he had spent the last year and a half doing only that.

When Zayn handed him a beer, Niall was quick to grab it from his hand, only shaking his head before handing it back to Zayn.

When Zayn went to hand Harry a beer, Harry only shook his head before standing and walking to the kitchen.

When he walked back into the living room, he had two bottles of water in his hand.

He sat down on the floor next to Louis. "Water?" Harry asked, thrusting one of the bottles in Louis' direction.

Louis gave him a small smile before taking the bottle.

"Is it like a bottle that looks like water, but is actually vodka?" Louis asked, making Harry giggle and shake his head.

"Thanks," Louis said before opening the water and taking a small sip that ran down his chin making Harry laugh.

Harry and Louis neither noticed, to busy in their own world, but everyone else in the room was looking at them with curious eyes.

Niall was a mess of smiles, happy his best friends were trying to work out their problems, but Liam had a cold look on his face. He knew Louis was going to hurt Harry again and he would have to be the one to pick up the pieces all over again.

Okay, so I like this one. It was less exciting but eh. Also, remember Harry and Louis haven't been on good terms for two years and the boys avoided talking about Harry to Louis and avoided talking to Harry about Louis so Harry doesn't know some stuff about Louis just like Louis doesn't know some stuff about Harry. Just in case the "coming out" comment confused anyone. Vote? Comment?
