I peek out of the staff room cautiously, relieved when I see no sign of Dan. The moment I saw some of the Scarlet Knives driving by, I quickly caught another coworker and asked if she could cover me for a minute. The sudden urge to pee was overwhelming and I needed to take care of business. Even after that, I still didn't feel prepared, however, so I snuck into the staff room to calm myself down. It wasn't long after when I heard a bunch of loud voices enter the pub which I could only assume belonged to members of the club.

Since the coast is clear, I quickly make my way back to the bar, thanking my coworker as she lets me take over again. I notice the gang members sitting in a corner booth with drinks already. Thank God they were already taken care of. Now I'll just need to keep them happy for the rest of the night.

"Psst!"

I turn in the direction of where I heard the voice and see Tyler crouched down behind the bar, a few feet away from where I'm standing.

"Ty, what the fuck are you doing down there?" I hiss, quickly surveying the room to make sure our manager isn't watching.

"I had to come and tell you something but I didn't wanna risk getting caught," the blonde answers.

"Alright, spit it out."

"I wasn't sure if you were nervous about having to deal with the Scarlet Knives but I have a little piece of information to ease your nerves a bit. There are only five of the members here. It might seem like a lot but it's actually less than usual. Taking care of them should be easier than expected."

"I guess that's good news? I'm still worried I'm gonna mess up, though," I whisper. This is something I've never had to deal with so honestly even just one seems like a lot.

"It'll be fine. I'll be supporting you from the kitchen," Tyler says as he peeks around the corner of the bar. With no sign of Dan, he stands up and races back to the kitchen, giving me one final look over his shoulder before disappearing from my sight.

I glance over to where the club members are and realize Tyler must've made a mistake. There are only four members here. This should be even easier to handle! Alas, the moment of happiness couldn't last forever. Not when there is a familiar brunette walking out from the hallway leading to the bathroom, making a beeline for the booth occupied by his companions and taking a seat. I'm surprised Tyler is actually still here. After seeing Jungkook walk in, I would've expected to watch as he ran for the hills.

One of the members stands up and begins walking over to the bar--aka to me. I immediately recognize the person as Gary and feel my stress levels rise astronomically, palms dampening with sweat. I try not to let my anxiety show and offer him a pleasant smile.

"What can I do for you?" I ask.

"Get me some whiskey, on the rocks. Something that's cheap but doesn't taste like shit," the older man replies. "Just put it on my tab."

"Sure thing," I reply, taking his glass and refilling it for him. Once finished, I pass the drink back over to him. "Here you are."

Gary takes a seat and sips from the glass, humming appreciatively. I hadn't expected him to stay so I'm left standing there awkwardly, not sure if he wants to talk or if he suddenly decided he'd rather sit here than with the rest of his crew.

"I must admit, I never expected to see a ginger in this town. Isn't the sun too strong for your delicate skin?" the man questions suddenly.

"Is there anything else you need, sir?" I ignore his question. I want to keep contact between us to a minimum.

"Actually there is, as a matter of fact," he begins, looking up with a sinister smirk. He leans back and pats his thigh. "You, right here."

I stare at him speechlessly. Was this guy for real? He's a married man, for Christ's sake. "Excuse me?"
