My Art Boiiiii

joxter and snufkin (wip)

hi i just realized i never post any of my paintings here so i figured i'd show you guys the ones i'm about to start yeehaw

i've been really into painting in the last couple months or so, and it's just really soothing and so satisfying to see the finished product and ugh i just love it

anyways here's the starting sketches of a couple i plan on finishing later this week

first off, here's snufkin! i'm not sure what color i want to do in the circle, and what color i want to do outside of it yet, so if you fellas have suggestions let me know haha

also this canvas is pretty big and it actually doesn't fit on my desk all the way. honestly i ended up mostly just sort of holding it and leaning it against the side of the desktop while i sketched it, rather than trying to lean over it

secondly, joxter! i'm not the best at drawing him, especially with the markings on his nose, but i'm actually sort of okay with how his face turned out.

this one, as you can tell, had a lot more trial and error than the snufkin one (i did this one first, too, so i was still tryna figure out what i even wanted to accomplish haha), and i learned the hard way that it's really fucking hard to erase pencil off of really cheap canvas from target so uh wouldn't recommend.

also for joxter i'm sort of considering doing some sort of green on the outside of the circle, and a light, teal blue inside of it, or maybe the other way around? i'm not sure yet

if you can't tell already i'm sort of trying to have the paintings match each other, so maybe i'll do green and yellow for joxter's, and red and blue for snufkin's? i really haven't thought that far ahead, maybe i'll test out some ideas tomorrow, who knows

also i can already tell trying to color match these is going to,,,,, take a long ass time. i'd like to have them match their actual, like, canon colors for clothes and hair and such as best i can aha

also

i bought a new phone case today and i'm 1000% going to paint joxter on there. i've needed a new case for a while, i'm a bit tired of the saeran one i have currently (it's got that one drawing i did of saeran with the cereal on it), especially since it's been like a year since i've played mystic messenger.

even though we stan snufkin in this household, my phone is actually red, and the case is clear, so i kinda thought joxter would be more fitting considering his hat is red too haha

also since it's clear i can cheat and tape a drawing on the inside and use that as a template owo

anyways i'm going off on a tangent, i need to shut up.
