Luka was walking beside Juleka on the sidewalk, and he couldn't help but notice how happy she looked.

"Hey Jule, why do you look so happy?" Luka curiously asked.

Juleka was taken aback by his sudden question, as she was deep in thought when he asked. She hesitated to answer at first, but eventually confessed,

"I'm.. Just really happy to see my friends again. I remember how in 9th grade always felt so alone and depressed, and now... I'm just happy that in the future I can look back at 10th grade knowing I made close friends and had good times," Juleka paused for a moment, and then slowly but surely, Luka could spot her cheeks being dusted a pale rose a bit.

"Especially with Rose," She whispered. Realizing what she said, she quickly put her hand over her mouth.

Luka had clearly heard what she said, but to save her from embarrassment, he decided to not notice,

"Sorry, what was that last part?" he asked apologetically with a small smile on his face.

Juleka stopped blushing and sent him a stern stare. "N-Nothing. Come on."

She grabbed his hand and practically dragged him across the street, whilst Luka was completely oblivious from reality. He had begun to dig into his intriguing thoughts. Apparently Juleka has a crush on someone named, "Rose"...Well, Luka couldn't really do anything about her crush. All he could do was watch and see what happens between the both of them.

"Luk!" He suddenly heard.

He snapped out of his thoughts and saw a frustrated Juleka a few paces ahead of him. He looked around, and saw that they were almost at his new school.

"Luka! Pay more attention. How are you going to walk home by yourself while I'm at the art room after school if you keep leaving reality?" Juleka gave a small face palm, but he knew it was to hide her embarrassment from the Parisians walking by. She was feeling desperately embarrassed of having to lecture her own brother on the streets.

"Juleka, you know I'm older than you right?" Luka responded smoothly.

Luka couldn't help himself from placing a sly smirk on his face. Juleka became irritated the moment he finished his sentence. After a few more moments of silence, Juleka turned her back to him and started to walk away. Luka quickly caught up to her and they both kept walking.

While looking around at his surroundings, he spotted a tan boy with a red cap on talking with someone inside a long black limo. Luka immediately thought that the person inside the limo must be rich, no doubt about it. He tried to look a bit closer at who was inside the car and saw blonde hair sticking out the window. Luka also saw how the boys were talking to each other casually. They seemed comfortable with each other. Luka concluded that the person inside the car must be the capped-boy's friend. But if they were friends, why didn't they just walk together? Why did one take a limo instead? Luka realized he was falling behind... again. Never mind them, he needed to catch up or else he'd make a poor first impression. He ran to Juleka again, and before he knew it, they were at his new school.

Luka admired the school's enormous appearance for a moment, and soaked in the positive atmosphere. Juleka smiled at the building, glanced around, and then spoke,

"Luka, you know where to go right? Well, I'm going to go catch up with my friends. If you need something text me, but not during class!" she reminded and then quickly ran over to a huddled group near the school doors.

Luka assumed those must be her friends that she wanted to see. Luka wasn't expecting anyone, and just stood there. He looked around at all the people talking to each other. He seemed like the only one who wasn't talking to anyone else. Knowing this, he was feeling a little nervous since he didn't really know anyone, apart from Juleka. Suddenly, Luka felt something collide with his shoulder, pushing him toward the ground abruptly. He felt a small scratch of pain on his elbow as he hit the ground.

"Ow..." Luka grunted.

He sat on his rear and rolled up his sleeve over his elbow so he could take a look at the scratch. Then he heard a person's voice.

"I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Here, let me help you up," The person said in a soothing voice.

Luka looked up in surprise, and there he saw the blonde boy from the black limo. The blonde boy had the brightest lime eyes he'd ever seen, tan skin that looked as soft as pillows, and a gorgeous white jacket with its sleeves rolled up on. He laid his hand outstretched for Luka to grab on to. At the same time, he had a welcoming smile on his face, but past that smile Luka could see an apologetic glance.

"T-Thanks," Luka stuttered nervously.

Luka didn't even realize he was stuttering. He felt a fluttery feeling in his stomach which he'd never felt before. Luka stood up slowly, feeling a strong urge to grab the boy's hand. He put his feelings aside after struggling on what to say, and just took the boy's hand to stand up.

"I wasn't looking where I was going, and I accidentally bumped into you," He explained.

"It's okay. My name's Luka, I'm new here. What's your name?" Luka asked curiously.

He knew he had a childish sort of smile right now but, he couldn't help it. His feelings overwhelmed him too much to hide the smile. He truly wanted to know what this boy's name was. He was grateful that he apologized after accidentally shoving him. The boy grinned warmly, and responded with a friendly tone,

"My name's Adrien Agreste. It's nice to meet you."
