Luka kept running and running blindly, not knowing where he was headed other than that it was somewhere. He followed the grey pavement in front of him and the consistent shrubbery that was close by until he found a car parked partly on the road and partly on the pavement he was following. He ran towards the trunk of the car and hid behind it. His eyes immediately darted forward, above the trunk slightly so he could see what was happening in the area he was just in. He could hear people screaming, running, and crying. It was total chaos. Looking closely at what was happening, suddenly he could see a heavy smoke spreading around that area. Among the people running aimlessly from left to right he could see that the source of the smoke seemed to be a small object on the ground. There were many variants of colours on it, and seemed to be slightly charred. The smoke colour was also unnatural. It looked like it was a lavender shade. There seemed to be glitter scattered within it as well, because bright lights would sometimes flash in Luka's vision. Luka's attention shifted to how the people were behaving. The people who were running around seemed to be scared and upset. He spotted somebody who was backed against a wall and yelling. He tried to listen to what they were saying.

"NO!! Please don't hurt them! I'll do anything!!"

Luka was confused and worried from the voice. He could clearly tell now that this person was male, but there was nobody in front of him. Who is he talking to? Luka pondered nervously. The man's face was scrunched up in horror as he shook. There was silence. Then he just stopped. It was like someone froze him or something. He collapsed to the floor and began to sob uncontrollably. "N-No way... This can't be r-real..." Luka was shaken from what he just witnessed. There was nobody there. He was just standing in the street where there was smoke... Maybe the smoke had something to do with it. Hearing what the man said reminded him of Marinette. He didn't mean to hurt her deeply. I'm so bad with words... he thought sadly. Suddenly, the world went silent. Next thing he knew, Luka felt gusts of air blowing in his ears and he felt wind swimming through his hair. He was in the air. Luka felt arms holding him and looked up to see who it was. He was greeted by blonde hair, a black mask, and a jingling bell. It was Cat Noir. They landed on a building close to where he was hiding and the superhero let him down. Luka looked at Cat Noir in interest. What am I doing here? What does he need with me? Luka's mind wondered in circles. At this point it seemed that he was going to explode with confusion.

"Luka Couffaine, I need your help. This is the ladybug miraculous, that will grant you the power of creation. Can I trust you to help me defeat Coeurcass and return the miraculous afterwards?"

Cat Noir's hand extended outwards, and on his black gloves lay two earrings. Luka looked directly at Cat Noir and back at the earrings. His facial expression was solemn. Whenever Luka sees Cat Noir on the TV he always seems lively and confident. The Cat Noir he saw now seemed to be a more serious version of that one. However there was one major question that stuck out in his mind. Why was he being given Ladybug's earrings?

"What... happened to Ladybug?" Luka asked hesitantly.

"She's-"

"She's not here right now."

A flying red thing appeared out of nowhere and interrupted Cat Noir. Taken aback by the flying creature Luka stepped back.

"W-What and who are you?"

"My name is Tikki, and I'm a kwami. We give powers to the holders of miraculous'. My miraculous is the ladybug miraculous," It was clearly obvious that Tikki was upset as well. Ladybug not being present has most likely affected them both harshly. I hope she's okay, despite whatever happened to her, Luka thought pitifully.

"So, can I trust you?" Cat Noir repeated the question, his voice becoming a little desperate. Luka thought for a few minutes about the request. He had to do it. If he didn't, who would?

"You can."

"Thank you, Luka."

He placed the earrings within Luka's hand. Luka placed them in his pocket temporarily as he took out his black earrings that he had on currently. He put the new earrings in and looked at Tikki.

"Say, 'Tikki, spots on.'" and you'll transform," Tikki informed.

"Tikki, spots on!"

After those words were said, Luka immediately began to transform into a superhero. His clothes disappeared and changed into a red suit with black spots covering it. His hands and feet up to his knees were black however, as well as his neck. He felt a mask appear on his face, then he felt his hair changed. He saw the blue dye in his hair seemingly shifted to a dark red in moments. He also felt his hair being tied up into a bun. He went over to touch his hair and also noticed that the hairband used to tie it up had two things sticking out, making it look like a ladybug's antennas. As quickly as it started it was over. Luka had transformed into a superhero and was ready for action. He was going to make it up to Marinette by saving her. It was time to save Marinette.
