Chapter 7: Our World to Save

(Chip's POV)

              I assume everyone knows who I am. I am one of Sonic's best friends! I am a part of his world. I am only allowed to be called when this world is in peril. At first, I thought everything would be ok after I left Sonic my bracelet. Instead, two kids fell from the sky and crashed landed in the world. Humans are normal, so that wasn't the problem. The problem was that these two were Dreamers. Actually, I do know these two! Or well, their ancestors. Two other Dreamers besides them paid a visit to my world. They were looking for worlds to trust and form a bond with.

"Hello?" I asked when I greeted them.

"Hi. I am Lukas and this is my partner, Pearlena" Lukas introduced with a bow.

"Hello. My name is Light Gaia, and this world is called Mobius" I introduced to them.

"What is here in your world?" Pearlena asked as she held a piece of parchment.

"We have humans and advanced creatures working together. We also have 7 powerful emeralds called Chaos Emeralds" I said with a nod of my head and lead them to Angel Island.

Although the echidnas at the time were tense of humans, they were not tense around me. I think it is, because I am the God of this world. However, we were standing at the top of the altar. The two of them were shocked to see the 7 Emeralds surround a giant one.

"What can the Emeralds do?" Pearlena asked as she smiled at her personal gem.

"Anything a person wants. As long as a person has strong intentions, then a person can freely use the Emeralds for whatever they want. That's why the Echidnas and three hedgehogs here protect these Emeralds from anyone who wants to use the Emeralds for evil purposes" I told them seriously.

"So, please don't make me hunt you down" a silver, gray female hedgehog said wearing a black battle armor.

"This is one of the hedgehogs I was talking about. This is Novawisp! I gave her the power over time. She is going to be my protector forever" I said happily as I flew to her.

She hugged me close as Lukas stepped forward and reassured "We will not harm the emeralds. We are just travelers"

After that, she grew close to the two of them. She even helped them out when something terrible happened in their world. She came with two Emeralds and even made sure those Emeralds went to two certain Dreamers. Nova and her husband, Cannonfire, helped the Dreamers out again when it came to Jesa's powers. Who's Cannonfire? He goes by Cannon and controls space. He's also going to guard me! So, why am I awake after I helped Sonic and our world? Well, I decided to come back and help out! After all, it is no fun watching from the sidelines when your friends are fighting for everything. I called out to Cannon and Nova first before reaching Nazo. Who's Nazo? He's another guardian of mine! His powers allow him to switch powers, and he can also use it. He's kind of irresponsible compared to Cannon and Nova. Why do I have guardians? Well, when Mobius was created, there were two strong darkness born in the world. That is Illosis who wants the powers of time and space. Then, there is Mephiles. He just wants to destroy anything that involves life and good. I have had my guardians keep a close eye on them until they are properly destroyed.

"Chip? Are you here?" Cannon asked as he entered one of my temples.

I called them to Spagonia.

"What can we do for you, Light Gaia?" Nova asked seriously.

"I want to help. Are you two fine with letting me come out and help?" I asked them seriously.

Cannon let out a laugh as Nova glared at him.

"What's so funny?" I asked them.

"You're the God! You can do whatever you want. We just have to protect us. However, I am grateful you called us over first before Nazo" Cannon pointed out as he tried to calm down.

"Just please don't do anything reckless. We already have three other hedgehogs running around causing enough chaos" Nova said with a smile.

I was so excited! In a flash of green light, I appeared before them. The two of them welcomed me with open arms. We later went to get Nazo who was very pleased to see me. However, he wondered why he was the last to know.

"I have one more thing I need to do" I told the three of them.

We walked to the top of the temple.

"If I recall correctly, Sonic was able to use those Wisps to help fight. I want to see if I can bring them here" I told my guardians.

They firmly nodded their heads. I shined a bright green light as I tried to reach for someone from the Wisps' place.

"Hello?" a voice called out.

I opened my eyes in shock. I did it! I actually reached someone! It was one of the Wisps creatures!

"Hi! My name is Chip. I am thinking about having your worlds come near my world. My world is the same world as Sonic's!" I said to him.

"Hello Chip! I am Yacker! The rest of the Wisps and I would be happy to be near Sonic! We wouldn't mind it! Just please keep us together" Yacker requested.

"Ok!' I said as I let the green light fade away a bit and turned to my guardians, "I need your powers to help transfer their worlds close to ours"

Nova raised her hand to let a silver light come to her, Cannon pumped a fist in the air to make a golden light come to him, and Nazo snapped his fingers to make a light purple light come to him. The three hedgehogs sent me their powers as I extended my hands towards the sky. A white light flew out and went towards the worlds of the Wisps. In a flash of white light, the worlds appeared around Mobius! I did it! Then, Yacker flew to me and gave me a hug.

"We did it!" I exclaimed in delight.

The three hedgehogs just smiled at us. That's right, we can help our friends protect our world and the Dreamers' as well! Let's join together everyone!
