Red and Blue: 5

The sun had finally started to set and Lauren and Harry still had no clue as to what to do. They couldn't get Alejandro to even talk about his late wife.

"This is hopeless." Harry says as he throws a dart at the dartboard.

"No Harry there has to be something. None of this makes sense," Lauren grabbed the list of names they had.

"Looking at that list again." Harry says. He grabbed the paper from Lauren and looked at the names.

"Mason Nocks was the first victim, he was the one that got shot by Sinu. Then it was Bailey Johnson, she was his partner. She was suffocated. The last victim was Haden Hollandsworth, he died from multiple stab wounds." Lauren points out. She started to walk in a circle.

"Hollandsworth had the worst death. The medical report says he didn't die until a hour after the last stab wound." Harry says. "This poor man was alive and feeling all of his pain for three hours before he finally died."

"Why?" Lauren whispers to herself. She tapped he thigh as she thought.

"Johnson and Hollandsworth were the undercover cops that shot Sinu." Harry says.

"So why were they undercover? It couldn't have been because of Nocks."

"Maybe this is bigger than what we think." Harry says.

Before the two could continue their thoughts Lauren's door swung open and they were greeted by Mike. His face had nothing but anger sketched across it. Harry's eyes widen, having not ever seen Mike angry before.

"Lauren what the hell were you thinking?" Mike asked angrily.

"That I needed to talk to Alejandro." Lauren says as she takes a seat next to Harry.

"Are you out of your mind?" Mike walked further into the room. "Do you have any idea on how much danger you just put yourself in?"

"It's no big deal father." Lauren dismisses the idea of her getting hurt.

"That's your problem, you think you can't get hurt. I'm not going to always be here for you Lauren," Mike took a deep breath before he continued. "Don't go back to that place. It's not safe." With that he walked out of the room.

"Well that was the first time I've ever seen him mad. I never realized how calm your father was whenever I'm around." Harry says. Lauren rolls her eyes.

"Go to sleep. We have a lot to do tomorrow."

~the next day~

Lauren and Harry woke up startled from the ringing of Lauren's phone. Harry grabbed the device and threw it on the floor.

"Hey asshole that was my phone." Lauren says as she grabs her phone. Harry responded with a grunt.

"Lauren where the hell are you?" Normani's voice says through the phone.

"Miami." Lauren grabbed her shirt and walked into the bathroom.

"Well we have information that might be of value." Normani says lowly. Lauren put the girl on speaker phone while she looked for her pants.

"What is it?" Lauren asked.

"Word on the street is Harry is the next target." Lauren had stopped searching for her pants to make sure she heard right.

"What about me?"

"No. Only him."

"Okay. Harry and I will be back tomorrow, tell Lucy to meet me at the coffee shop." Lauren hung up with phone.
