1 year later

"Camila was it really necessary to get tattoos?" Dinah asked.

She stood in the mirror viewing her newest tattoo. It was cool but painful as hell.

"Come on, we're making memories." Camila says happily.

She stood up and looked in the mirror and looked at her newest tattoo. Both girls decided to get a small skull that smiled on their ankle.

"What do you think Lauren is going to say?" Dinah asked amusingly.

"Oh shit I forgot about her cake." Camila quickly payed for their tattoos and rushed out of the parlor. Dinah wasn't far behind her as the both got into the car.

"She's going to kill you." Dinah says seriously. "How could you forget about the one thing she wanted?"

"Shut up. I'm going to blame you." Camila says as she turned the corned and parked in front of the bakery store.

"You have 20 minutes to get the cake and make it back home." Dinah checked the time. "There's no way we're making it."

Camila rushes inside and grabbed the cake. She paid for it and thank the woman who made it. She carefully sat the cake in the back seat and made sure it was secure before she pulled off.

"Oh Mani is calling what should I say?" Dinah asked as she seen that melanin girl was calling.

"Don't answer."

"If I don't answer she's going to be mad at me." Dinah says right before she answered. "Hi beautiful."

Camila glances at Dinah who's face was now red. She was waiting for the younger girl to say something but she never did. After two minutes Dinah hung up and looked at Camila.

"What?" Camila asked.

"You're so dead." Dinah says as she laughed. "You left your suit at Mani's place." Dinah says.

"Dinah." Camila whined. She pulled over and laid her head in the steering wheel.

"She's going to hate me." Camila mumbles.

"Okay how about this. We get Harry and the rest of the gang to distract her while we sneak in and wait for Mani to bring the suit." Dinah says.

"It wouldn't matter, we're still going to be late." Camila says. She looked at the time and noticed they had 10 minutes.

A horn was blown and when Camila looked up she saw Normani passing by on her motorcycle. She couldn't help but smile and she noticed the girl.

"Let's go Mila we can't be late for your official ranking." Dinah says happily.

20 minutes later

"Okay we're a little late but that's fine because you're hot." Dinah says.

"What if she hates it?" Camila was starting to get nervous. "She thinks this is a party for my new rank as gang leader but it's actually me proposing to her."

"She's going to love it." Dinah handed Camila a small box that contained a ring for Lauren. "Now let's hope she doesn't say no."

Camila walked into the large room and it was filled with members of her gang and friends she had made over the year. She founder help but smile because they've come a long way.

A year ago she made a deal with Lauren's mother and it was the worst thing she couldn't have done. She left the one person she loved behind and decided a life in a different country was better. That didn't last long two months after leaving she ran into Lauren waiting for her and her home. She was shocked and worried that something had happened.

Lauren simply explained that she was fine and that if she was going to live a life in fear it would be with the person she was crushing on at the time. Camila smiled and ever since then her and Lauren have been inseparable.

"Good you're here." Normani says as she pulled Camila into the room. Luckily Lauren didn't see them. "Put this on and hurry, I'm sure Lauren is looking for you."

Camila didn't hesitate to put on her tux. She looked at herself in the mirror and had to admit she looked good. She tossed her hair to the side and took a deep breath.

As she walked out the room and into the larger room she could feel her nerves. She had never been so nervous as to now mainly because everyone in the room knew the plan except Lauren.

"Hey babe." Lauren says as she makes eye contact with Camila. "You look like you're about to puke."

"You have no idea." Camila slightly jokes.

"So how do these things work, is there a ceremony or do they just announce it." Lauren asked as she grabbed Camila's hand.

"Actually it's a bit of both." Camila took charge and guided them towards the middle of the room. "Dance with me?"

Lauren and Camila danced and soon others gathered and did the same. After a while Camila knew it was time, she looked around and found Ally who knew exactly what to do.

"Sorry to interrupt your lovely time but we have so good news. Camila here has ranked up to HRM and for those who don't know it means High Ranking Member. She know is 1/3 of the only HRMs." Ally says.

Everyone clapped and cheered for Camila. She had become the first female to ever be HRM and the youngest.

Camila walked up to the stage and took the microphone. She knew this speech was supposed to be about her thank everyone and then proposing to Lauren. The more she thought about the more she hated it. It didn't feel right she wanted to make it more special.

"This means a lot to me. I am honored to be about of the HRMs and I promise to do my best when it comes to this. There is one thing that I want to do while I'm up here." Camila says.

Everyone was now waiting with excitement written all over their faces. Camila dug into her pocket and was about to pull out the box when she decided against it. She saw the confused faces of her friends and peers but she couldn't do it.

"I..."
