~727 Homeland shore~

"Camila where the hell have you been?" Dinah asked. It was nearly four in the morning and the girl was just getting home.

"Hospital." Camila says. "Where the fuck is the idiot that was assigned the job?"

Dinah saw the rage in Camila's eyes and she knew it was hell for whoever had the job.

"Louis!" Camila called. The boy came down the stairs and wanted nothing more than to disappear.

"Yes Camila." He said timidly.

"You shot the wrong person..." Camila say angrily. "I told you who to shoot and what did you do?"

"I.."

"You shot the wrong fucking person." Camila grabbed the gun laying on the table and hit Louis in the face with it.

"Camila!" Dinah says. Camila points the gun at Dinah.

"I don't want to kill you Louis." Camila says while still pointing the gun at Dinah. "So I'm going to give you one more chance."

"I'm sorry Camila." Louis says.

"You're going to the hospital and you're going to make sure that Harry is okay." Camila says. "You're going to report back to me every hour and inform me about everything."

Louis nods his head and leaves the room. Camila had her eyes closed and the gun still pointed at Dinah.

"Why do you care so much about him?" Dinah asked. She didn't fear the gun being pointed at her. She knew Camila would never shoot her.

"I don't."

"Oh right. You care about her." Dinah says. "It makes sense. That's why she's not dead yet?"

"Shut up Dinah." Camila says. She didn't want to hear one of Dinah's conspiracies.

"You don't ever know her." Dinah continues. "So why do you care so much?"

"Dinah." Camila warned.

"Camila." Dinah says in the same tone.

"I don't care."

"Do you have a crush on her?" Dinah asked surprisingly. When Camila didn't answer she knew the answer.

"Dinah I really don't have time for this." Camila says as she heads to the couch.

"Make time." Dinah says angrily. "I have been your best friend for five years now, tell me what makes this girl so different?"

"I'm going to sleep." Camila walked up the stairs to her room.

~the hospital, the next day~

"Lauren your Lieutenant is here." Casper whispers to Lauren.

The girl looked up to see her Lieutenant and a few of her fellow detectives. She really didn't want to deal with their bullshit.

"Lauren I'm so sorry." Detective Mendes says.

"He's not dead." Lauren informs the boy. Mendes senses her anger and backs away.

"Detective I know this is a hard time for you but you still have a case to solve." Lieutenant says. "I've assigned these Detectives to stand guard at Harry's room and to not let anyone in unless they are a doctor."

"You want me to leave my partner to solve a case?" Lauren asked astonished. "How could you ask me to do that?"

"I wasn't asking." The Lieutenant says. "Detective Mendes and Tomlinson will be here."

Lauren eyed the detectives. She knew Mendes considering they had worked cases together, but Tomlinson she knew nothing about. She had never seen the young detective before.

"You're a rookie." Lauren said to the detective.

"Louis Tomlinson." Louis held out his hand for Lauren to shake.

"You're going to assign a rookie to watch my partner." Lauren said to the Lieutenant after she ignored Louis handshake.

"He's from Miami. They sent him today and he has a good record." The Lieutenant says.

Lauren didn't show any reaction when she heard Louis was from Miami. It was all coming together for Lauren and she was going to solve this puzzle.

"Fine. Casper you stay in the room with Harry at all times, if you're hungry send one of them to get you food." Lauren gave the order to Casper.

"Yes boss." Casper says.

"Who is that?" Louis asked.

"Someone I trust." Lauren says as she leaves.

"Lauren I would like a word with you." The Lieutenant says. Lauren followed him out of the hospital.

"I will solve the case you don't have to worry." Lauren tells the Lieutenant.

"That's not what I'm worried about. You have that look in your eyes again."

"What look?"

"The look of a killer."

Lauren didn't respond because at that very moment that's what she wanted to do. She wanted to cause harm to those who caused harm to Harry. She wanted to see someone suffer.

"Don't worry." Lauren says.

"Stay focused on the case." The Lieutenant left the hospital.

Lauren grabbed her phone and saw that it was dead. She needed to go home and shower, it had been a long day and it wasn't even dinner time yet.

When she arrived home the first thing she saw was the blood streaks leading from the front door to the kitchen. She felt her throat become tight from holding back the tears. She went to her room and stripped out of all of her clothes. She needed a hot shower to relax her mind. She put her phone on the charger and got into the shower. The first twenty minutes of the shower Lauren wasted on thoughts. She stood under the water and just thought.

When she was finally out of the shower she felt better. Her phone rung just as she was about to fall asleep.

"Hello?" Lauren answered the phone.

"It's me."

"Ally?" Lauren asked. She could barley hear because of how low the girl was talking.

"Yes. I have information about Harry's shooting." Ally says.

"Ally I can barely hear you."

"Lucy will tell you I have to go." Ally hung up the phone and Lauren groaned. She couldn't focus on anything expect Harry.
