*Samantha's POV*

I watched as Dylan ran away. I didn't go after her, she needed time to think by herself. I turned back to the five boys who stood in front of me.
"Look, you hurt Dylan a lot and you can't expect her to forgive you or anything anytime soon," I said directly to Jonah.
"I know. I just thought she'd at least listen to me," he muttered, looking down.
"Shouldn't you go after her?" a boy with curly hair asked.
"She needs to be alone right now," I turned to leave when Jonah grabbed me.
I looked up at him, eyebrows raised.
"Here's my number in case Dylan ever wants to hear an apology," he showed me his phone and I copied it, changing his contact to Jonah❓.
"Why the question mark?" his face scrunched up.
"Cause I'm not sure if I should forgive you after what you did to my best friend," with that I turned around, flipped my hair and strutted out the door.

*Jonah's POV*

"Geez Jonah. Why did you have to be on bad terms with those two?" Zach stared in awe as Samantha walked out the door.
I punched him, "Zach, you got a girlfriend already."
His face went pale and he immediately shut up.
"Wow, he's quiet for once!" Corbyn laughed.
I rolled my eyes, "Let's just go home."

*Jonah's POV*

I sat on my bed, staring at my phone. What do I say? I was writing an apology on Instagram for Dylan, not knowing what to say. Then my fingers started flying around and I ended up with this.

Dylan,
I am truly sorry about what I said and did to you a few years ago. I know it hurt you in ways I never expected and I regret it every chance I get to. The names I called you weren't true because you were and still are beautiful and and meaningful. You bring a smile to anyone around you's face. You used to brighten up my day when I was down and joke around with me.
  Though I know that we might never be friends like we were before, I still have a little bit of hope. Even if you hate me I will try and try until you listen. I don't expect you to forgive me easily but I wish you would try. I have changed and I truly believe that I could treat you better if I get the chance to.
  I am so sorry for the pain I have caused you Dylan Murphy.

  I posted it and immediately got comments from confused fans. I saw one comment that made me smile.

  I scrambled out of my room and ran down the stairs. I skidded to a halt in the living room where the other guys were watching a movie.
  "Slow down there Jonah. What's got you so excited?" asked Jack, eyebrows raised.
  "Dylan forgave me. I wrote an apology on Instagram and she commented that she forgave me and hoped we can be friends again," I felt relieved, like a weight was lifted off my chest.
  I didn't feel guilty anymore. Wait, was that the only reason why I apologized, so I didn't feel guilty about it anymore? I shook my head and sat down on the couch next to Daniel. He gave me a smile and I directed my attention towards the TV.

*Dylan's POV*

  As I read Jonah's apology while sitting at a table in a cafe I smiled. He truly was sorry. I commented back and I really did forgive him.
