Missed Ya

*Third Person*

It had been a few years since Jonah left for LA and the fight. Dylan and Samantha were best friends, though Samantha lived in LA for her modeling career. The two were almost 19 and Dylan was thinking about moving into Samantha's apartment in LA to get her acting career started.
As Dylan sat on her bed, looking at pictures of Los Angeles her phone rang. It was Samantha.
She immediately picked up, "Hey Sam!"
"Hey Dyl(pronounced as Dil)! I know you still are kinda nervous about the whole LA move but trust me, it will really help your career and we'll be together so it will be ok! Plus I really miss my bestie," Sam pleaded.
"I think I'm gonna go," Dylan responded.
"Look, I know you don't want to leave your family but, wait what! You wanna come! I can't wait!" Sam exclaimed.
Dylan glanced over at her stuffed duffel bag on the ground, "I kinda already have my clothes packed..."
"You literally are hilarious. You already had your clothes packed?!" laughed Sam.
"Yeah, I decided like yesterday and felt motivated," giggled Dylan.
"Well when will you come?" asked Sam, eagerly.
"I'll look at flights but I at most need a week to say goodbye and pack my other stuff and get movers," Dylan answered.
"I can't wait. I'll text my address to you. Tell me when you arrive in LA, I have a photo shoot I have to go to right now. See ya soon bestie!" Sam said goodbye.
"Bye Sam!" Dylan hung up and looked around her room.
"Well, let's get to packing!" she stood up and started grabbing items and putting them in boxes.

*6 Days Later*

*Dylan's POV*

I hopped out of my mom's car and turned around to look at her.
"I'm gonna miss you so much mom! Tell dad and Cody(my 12 year old brother) that I love them," I gave my mom a hug and grabbed my suitcase out of the trunk, closing it.
"I love you Dyl! Have fun," my mom smiled.
"Love you!" I returned her smile and walked into the busy airport.
I got passed security and noticed I still had 20 minutes till my flight. I headed over to the Starbucks and ordered an iced coffee.
"Dylan!" the worker called out.
I took my drink and headed towards my gate, which was about to board. I looked around at all the people waiting, wondering where they were going and why. For some it could be to visit family, others to follow their dreams like me.
"Flight to LA now boarding," a man voice said over the loud speaker.
I walked up to the worker. She checked my ticket and I headed towards the plane. I made my way to my seat, which was luckily by the window. I texted Sam that I was on the plane.

Dylan😝: Just Boarded!

Sam🧐: Can't wait to see you! I'll be waiting for you!

Dylan😝: 👍

  I took a picture as the plane took off and posted it on my Instagram.

I turned off my phone and decided to take a nap. I drifted asleep easily.
I was woken up when the women next to me tapped my shoulder. I thanked her and grabbed my carry-on, following everyone out of the plane.
I waited for my luggage and Sam. I texted her and she said she would be here any minute.
I saw my bags and grabbed them, staying put so Sam could find me. I knew it was her when I heard a shriek.
"Omg, Dyl!" I heard her scream as she came running towards me.
She engulfed me in a tight hug and I hugged back.
"I missed you Sam! I'm so happy we get to live together in freaking LA!" I smiled.
"I know right. I can't wait to show you around and introduce you to some of my friends," she replied, letting go of me and helping to carry one of my bags as we walked to her car.
We both got in and she began driving to her apartment.
"You will not believe who I have met here though. I made friends with so many people, and there all so sweet! Plus there are a lot of guys here, definitely your taste that you could date," she wiggled her eyebrows at me.
"Oh my gosh Sam!" I giggled.
"What, it's true," she laughed.
We arrived at her apartment and brought my bags up. She unlocked the door and we walked in.
"I love it, it's so cute!" I exclaimed.
"Thanks, let me show you your new room," she took off down the hall.
I followed her as she opened the door.
"Oh my, it's beautiful Sam! Thank you so much!" I hugged her again.
"Well I thought since your stuff arrived yesterday I would get everything ready for you," she shrugged.
"It's awesome!" I beamed, my stomach growling.
"Your hungry aren't ya?" she pointed out, dragging me towards the door, "Let's eat and walk around."
We went to dinner and after that we walked to the beach. We had met up with a super nice fan who took a picture for my Instagram.
