*Jonah's POV*
I woke up, not in my house and with someone sleeping on my shoulder. I looked over and saw it was Dylan. I quickly relaxed, remembering last nights events. I smiled down at her while she peacefully slept. The way her lips pursed and how she had one arm wrapped around mine.
"Jonah, if she wakes up she's going to think your creepy," whispered Daniel.
I jumped in surprise at his voice and then rolled my eyes, "Yeah whatever."
I grabbed my phone off of the coffee table and checked to see I had messages from Tate. Before meeting up with Dylan again Tate and I had been talking. I had almost asked her on a date before Dylan. I had liked Tate a lot, I still do, and I feel guilty about it because I'm now with Dylan.
I realized I was staring at my phone at the texts she had sent.Messages
Tate💞: Hey Jonah. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime soon. Maybe go out for lunch?
Jonah: I'd love to. Maybe tomorrow at Corner Bakery(Idek)?
Tate💞: Sure! Meet there at 12:30!
Jonah: Great, see you there
End of Messages
Should I feel bad? Me and Tate are just hanging out so it's not like I'm on a date with her, right? I put my phone down and noticed everyone beginning to wake up. Dylan's eyes fluttered open and when she saw me she smiled. I returned the smile and kissed the top of her head.
"Morning sleepyhead," I said, brushing the hair out of her face.
"Good morning Jo," she replied, sitting up.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, remembering her brother.
"Crap, let me check to see if my mom texted me," she scrambled up and snatched her phone.
She stared at the screen for a few minutes and then looked up, "He should wake up in a few hours and he has a broken arm. I guess he was with a friend and the mom was driving the two of them when the light turned green. They started driving and then a car from oncoming traffic turned and collided with them."
"Wow, I'm glad he's ok. What was his name again?" Corbyn asked.
"Cody," Dylan smiled when she said his name, the two were always close even though the age difference.
"So what should we do today?" Jack asked.
"Let's just watch movies all day and eat junk food," Zach said as he popped some chocolate into his mouth.
And that's what we did for most of the day.
It began getting dark and we all decided to head home.Next day
*Dylan's POV*
Jonah was busy today so the guys asked if I wanted to go and get lunch with them at Corner Bakery. I had said yes since my audition was at 4:00. I was beginning to get nervous for the audition, feeling the butterflies in my stomach. I ignored them and got dressed in mom jeans and a yellow t-shirt, slipping on my old skool vans and heading out the door, locking it behind myself.
I ordered an Uber, I really should invest in a car, and waited for it to arrive. When it did I told the driver the destination and we began driving.
After a few minutes I payed the driver and got out, waiting for the guys out front. I waited for ten minutes until finally they arrived.
"What took you all so long?" I laughed.
"Zach," Jack said, turning to look at Zach who smirked, "was doing his hair which took forever."
They all chuckled and we walked inside and began ordering.*Jonah's POV*
I was having a lot of fun with Tate, beginning to feel what I felt for her before. She even put her hand over mine on the table and I didn't budge. I was really taking a liking to her. Then I heard the door open and five people walked in, who I recognized. It was Dylan and the other guys. Shoot, this was bad.
They had just finished ordering and were searching for a table, still not noticing me. Then Tate began to lean in and our lips connected.*Dylan's POV*
We sat down and Daniel and Jack were staring at something behind me, eyes wide and mouths hanging open.
"What?" I asked as I began to turn around.
"Stop Dylan," Jack grabbed my arm.
I broke free and completely turned around to see Jonah, my boyfriend, kissing some girl while holding her hand. They separated and Jonah stared at me, his face had a panicked look.
I stood up, grabbing my purse when Corbyn grabbed my arm, "What?"
I was angry, trying to loosen his grip.
"Dylan, wait," Corbyn said.
"No," I shook my head and ran out of the restaurant and passed all the shops.
"Dylan!" I heard Jonah shout from behind me, he was running after me.
That only made me run faster and I kept running until I thought he was gone. I slid down a wall and hugged my knees as tears slid down my face.
Suddenly I felt an arm on my shoulder, I looked up and it was Jonah. I threw his arm off of me and stood up.
"Dyl, please let me explain," he pleaded.
"What is there to explain? If you liked her from the start then you should have asked her to be your girlfriend. We're done, and I hope I never see you again," I replied furiously as I still felt tears.
"Dylan, it was an accident. It didn't mean any-"
I stopped him, "You should have thought about the consequences before you kissed her back and held her hand. Don't ever, and I mean ever, talk to me again. You broke my heart to many times and I'm not going to fall for your shallow apology again."
With that I turned on my heal and bolted down the street, running out of his sight. I ordered an Uber which took me home and sat on the couch eating ice cream and sitting in my misery. I called and canceled my audition, knowing I had to much on my mind to focus, there were always second chances.A/N- Crazy chapter and I'm not trying to make Jonah look bad, it's just for the story! Hope y'all are enjoying and I'm going on vacation next week so I might not be updating, but there is a chance. Make sure to vote if you are enjoying! Love y'all!❤️
