@itsSamantha: Honey, leave this page and never come back. Dylan is here to spread positivity and you are just spreading rumors that aren't true in the slightest. Bye hater👋
@jonahmarais: I completely agree with @itsSamantha, I'm the one who messed things up with Dylan and I was the one who had the idea of being friends again so don't think that she is using us because she isn't.See more comments
I smiled at my phone and set it on my nightstand. I got dressed in boyfriend jeans and a white t-shirt that I tied in a knot at the front. I was going to lunch with Jonah, his friends, and Sam at 12:30.
I made my way to the bathroom, applying a bit of makeup and brushing my hair.
I walked towards the kitchen to eat some breakfast, or more like drink. I grabbed some fruit and spinach and made myself a smoothie.
As I drank it I sat on the couch, watching Spongebob because I literally have nothing else to do with my life besides practice for my audition for a TV show, but I needed Sam to be the other character.
After about an hour I heard Sam's door open and she walked into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes.
"Morning sleepyhead!" I smiled cheerfully at her.
"Morning," she yawned, sitting beside me on the couch.
"We still have like two hours till we have to leave so can you help me learn my script for my audition?" I asked, hopeful.
"Of course, let me just make some coffee. I need to wake up," she made herself coffee and plopped back down beside me.
I handed her a copy of the script and we began rehearsing. We finally finished and I felt pretty confident.
"You ready to crush that audition?" Sam was smiling at me.
"I think I am. I feel really good about it to be honest, not as nervous as I expected," I replied, shrugging.
"That's honestly good that you feel confident about it. Anyways, I should get ready, I'm a mess," Sam stood up and walked back to her room and I continued to watch Spongebob.*Jonah's POV*
As we drove to the restaurant we were having lunch at I could feel my stomach twisting. I gripped the steering wheel tightly and clenched my jaw.
"You seem tense Jonah. Everything alright?" Corbyn asked.
"I guess...I don't know. I feel like she forgave me to fast, even though that's a good thing. I feel like I should have worked harder to be her friend again. Once you get to know her she is kind of easy to control and I feel like maybe she just forgave me because she thinks I changed. She always sees the good in people, though sometimes her judgement is completely off," I blurted out, focusing my attention back on the road as the light turned green.
"Well you have changed right? You aren't going to screw up again?" Corbyn raised his eyebrows.
"I hope not but I don't know what will happen in the future," I shrugged.
"Jonah, just forget about losing her again and focus on how you have her back!" Daniel said from the back seat.
"Your right Daniel. Let's just enjoy the day. And I know it won't be like old times but at least it will be something. And can I establish one rule we all agree on?" I turned back to face everyone since the light was red.
They all nodded and I continued, "I really don't want anyone to date her. If you do then I-I don't know. I just feel like if someone takes interest in her things are going to change, maybe for the worst."
Jack stared at me, puzzled, "Um ok I guess."
"Do you actually like her or are you just trying to get this off your conscience?" Corbyn frowned.
"I like her but I guess I also felt guilty?" I more like asked than said.
"Jonah, make up your mind because if you just want to feel less guilty then don't play with her like this," Corbyn commented.
I nodded and we kept driving, finally pulling up to the restaurant. We all hopped out of the car and walked inside. We saw Dylan and Sam sitting and waiting for us. They waved and came over to us. Dylan was smiling and I suddenly felt like jelly.*Sam's POV*
"Hey," I said as we walked up to the boys.
They all said hi and we were guided to our table. I sat next to Dylan and Corbyn, Jonah on Dylan's other side.
As we looked at the menu I tapped Dylan's shoulder.
"What are you going to get?" I asked, knowing the answer already.
She looked up after pretending to study it, "Um, something I hardly ever get. Maybe something like chicken tenders."
She giggled and I laughed with her, the boys looked up.
"What's so funny?" asked Zach.
"Sam asked me what I was going to get and I literally get chicken tenders all the time so it wasn't really a question, she already knew," Dylan smiled at Zach.
He let out a laugh along with Jack. The waiter came with our drinks and we ordered, then the table went awkwardly silent.
I tapped the table with my finger and looked around at the others, expecting someone to speak.
Nobody did so I blurted out, "So you guys like to sing?"
I facepalmed myself because of course they like to sing, there in a band. My face grew red.
"Yeah, and I know you were just trying to make conversation so don't worry," Jonah remarked.
I felt relieved and we broke into our own conversations.
Our food arrived and we ate. We finished up and the guys were so kind to pay for Dylan and I's meal, though hers was only $6.00 as it was on the kids menu.
We thanked them and headed off. We sat in my car and I started it.
"To be honest, that was kinda awkward," Dylan giggled.
"Yeah," I agreed with her as we drove through LA back to our apartment.A/N- I am actually not ok, I'm going to their concert tonight and I'm so excited! I've wanted to go for so long and I finally can! Hope you enjoyed the chapter!❤️
