*Third Person*

"I never want to speak to you again Jonah! Do you hear me? Never again. Never talk to me or text me after what you did. Delete my number and unfollow me," Dylan shouted at her once best friend Jonah, crying.
"Fine, be that way. When I move to LA at least I won't have to deal with you anymore," Jonah yelled back angrily as he ran back to his car and drove away.
Dylan stood in the middle of the street, tears running down her face, eyes red and puffy. She had experienced the betrayal of a once thought of friend, now nothing to her.
Dylan sat on the curb, head in her hands as she uncontrollably felt hot tears stream down her face. Her best friend for more than 15 years betrayed her in so many ways.
Someone tapped Dylan's shoulder and she turned around, startled, expecting Jonah to have come back to apologize, but it was her neighbor, Samantha. The two were in the same grade and attended the same school but never hung out, nothing personal, just different groups and interests.
"Hey," Samantha said, sitting beside Dylan, "I know the answer to this question but are you alright?"
  Dylan shook her head.
"What's wrong? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I can leave if you want," Samantha started to stand up.
"Please stay," Dylan said sadly, "And I will tell you, I have a feeling I can t-trust you."
Samantha smiled warmly and looked at Dylan.
"My best friend, well not anymore, b-betrayed me. He hung out with a few guys who had been complete jerks to me, calling me names and stuff. Jonah, for whatever reason, decided to humiliate me in the cafeteria with them, calling m-me ugly and fat and worthless. Maybe he heard a rumor about me and decided to unfriend me or just got caught up with the popular guys," Dylan stuttered a bit.
"Oh my gosh, I'm truly sorry Dylan. If he doesn't see how amazing you are then he is just not worthy of you. Don't listen to anything any of those boys said to you because they are all lies," Samantha said, engulfing Dylan in a friendly hug.
The two were quiet for a second until Dylan spoke.
"Hey Samantha," Dylan hugged back, looking up at the friendly girl.
  "Yeah Dylan?" questioned Samantha.
"Thank you for this," Dylan smiled, wiping her tears away.
"Your welcome, and if you need anything, I'm just next door."
The two smiled at each other and went home, both feeling confident as to the possibility of gaining a new friendship.
