The world is getting colder
And I'm getting older
I don't want to see
The future that lies ahead of me
Will we become so heartless?
I thought human compassion was endless
But as we smile less
Our entire world became such a mess
I don't want this kind of life anymore
The life where I have no path
The one that'll make me rotten to the core
Our ancestors have fought for freedom
Took down colonies and kingdoms
But what are we doing here?
Just cowering and wasting time because of non-existant fear
Universe
Why couldn't you give me a sign?
I'm getting lonelier and emptier without reverse
It feels like I'm being chained and cursed
Please, tell me how to say that everything's fine
Because I'm not
And it's getting worse
