"What's wrong, Talon? Do you have more information about Vanderwill?" Taking in Talon's serious expression, I anxiously inquired.

"I'm sorry Phebes, we don't really have any new information about his actual whereabouts."

Completely reading me and knowing the exact piece of information I desired, Talon apologised. "However, we got a lead this morning that he might be doing business with Metrix. It's currently one of the most famous clubs in the city. The rumour has it; Vanderwill is supplying them with some new drugs formula he personally created. It's supposed to be more cost-effective and profitable for the dealers as it is much more addictive and dangerous for the users. Although we haven't gotten full confirmation yet, we believe he is also supplying them with weapons. Pierce and I have already deployed Matt, Xylan and some other agents there to cover the bases and learn more about the ground. They are also currently trying to tap the place with bugs in each strategic points I mapped out for them on the club blueprint replica so we can have ears and eyes inside the private sections of the club."

"Okay. All of this sounds good, what's the catch?" Perplexed where the problem lied, I questioned Talon.

"The catch Phebes is I don't believe in luck. Especially not when Vanderwill is concerned."

"And you think I believe in luck, especially when that despicable individual is concerned!?" I abruptly cut in with my defences rising.

"What I think is, you don't essentially think clearly when Vanderwill is in the picture. And I don't mean it as an insult. I love you and only want what's best for you."

"Go on." Giving Talon the green light, he was reassured I wasn't going to bite his head off just yet.

"First off, receiving all this information about Vanderwill's current moves at the club after so long of no news about his existence seem fishy to me. It was way too easy, too quick and gave me a sense of exterior planning. It doesn't make any sense why he would carelessly talk about his future plans, much less current ones in the open. He must know there are a few of our agents who have infiltrated his gang. Besides he hasn't even received his infamous, most looked towards 'Official Welcome-back' party yet, and won't risk getting captured so quickly; at least not this carelessly. "

"What are you trying to say Talon?" Having already taken all those points into consideration during the week, I was slightly perplexed where Talon was going with his explanation.

"That there is a high chance Vanderwill will be waiting for you at Metrix."

"And how is that a bad thing? I would say that's an opportunity to end this game between him and me forever."

Taking in a deep intake of air, Talon's face showed he had indeed done something he wasn't supposed to, as I had first suspected when I walked in. "Look, I know we should have waited for you, but when Xylan volunteered to disguise himself as a drug dealer for tonight's meeting, I simply couldn't let this opportunity slip by. We were limited in time, and given how tired you've been lately, I figured you were resting when you didn't pick up the emergency calls."
