Saved by the ring of my cell phone the moment Alicia was about to utter something in an attempt to convince me, I removed my phone from my pocket and saw Talon's face flashing on my screen, causing a smile to immediately crept up on my face.
"Who got you all smiley all of a sudden?" Alicia curiously inquired.
"Talon." I dismissively responded and made my way to the couch to answer his call.

Noticing Alicia softly ask "What's wrong?" from my peripheral vision, I let Talon know I was at Alicia's and he was going to be placed on hold for a second.
"I'm supposedly angry at him so he would learn his lesson and not do whatever Xylan ask him to."
"Oh, ok .... Go on then. The others and I are just going to be around, trying not to listen in your conversation."
"Yeah right!" Stretching my words and giving her a look of disbelief, "Like that's ever going to happen. But I'll take my chances, so out, all of you. And Ali, since Talon is going to take all my time I will be staying for dinner; call me when dinner is ready, please."
Turning my back on them, I continued my task of making Talon's life miserable, aware Alicia and company will never leave me alone. Maybe Federick will since he is not welcome here.
