Daemons and Grimm (Warhammer 40k X RWBY) (AU)

Chapter 12

A familiar voice, a voice from someone who thought he was dead from a long time. He was both suprised and relieved, knowing that they survived.

Glynda: Rytsar? Is that you? *Hugs him while crying*

Rytsar: Yes, my love. It's me, alive and well.

Glynda: *Orders the soldiers to put down their weapons* What happened? And where did you go!?! I was alone for 5 months!!! *Sobs*

Rytsar: *Pats her head* I was rescued, by my master. As the building was about to crush me, he then opened a portal to where he was. I was unconcious, until I woke up and met one of his friends, He then left me a weapon and a letter telling me how he did it.

Glynda: Okay then, *Signals the Atlas soldiers to go back to their duties* let's go meet the others. You can tell me the story along the way. I am sure that they will be surprised as well.

Timeskip to Atlas Base

Rytsar and Glynda was walking towards the base to surprise the others. While walking, a particular redhead spotted them and ran to them at super speed.

Ruby: Captain Rytsar! *Hugs him* You are alive!!! I was so sad when I saw the building fall on you.

Blake: Good to see you, Mr. Rytsar.

Yang: Wow! You're still here! I can't believe you survived!

Weiss: *Hugs Rytsar while sobbing heavily* I thought you died! Mrs. Goodwitch told me that you were crushed to death by the building! Don't ever do that again!

Rytsar: I promise, Weiss. Where are the others? I would like to see them.

Ruby: They are at the cafeteria. Come on! Let's go and tell them the good news!

Timeskip to Cafeteria

Ruby: EVERYONE!!! I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS!!!

Jaune: What is it Ruby?

Velvet: Tell us the good news!

Ruby: Well, The good news is tha-

Rytsar then enters the cafeteria. Many students gasp at the sight that their new teacher is still alive and well. Students rushed off their seats to greet and welcome their teacher back.

Student: Professor Rytsar, How are still alive? Many of us thought you are dead. Mrs. Goodwitch told us that you sacrificed yourself.

Rytsar: Well, I did sacrificed myself. But..... I survived. By being dead. In pretend.

Alexis: Rytsar-kun?!?!?! Is that you? My love! You've returned! Don't you ever do that again!

Alexis then tackles the Grey Knight but ultimately fails. Resulting in a painful crash towards the Astartes' armor.

Alexis: *Rubs her head* Owie.

Rytsar: *Helps her up* Are you ok, Alexis?

Alexis: Never been better, love. I knew that you will return! I prayed to the Emperor day and night for your safe return. And it really happened! The Emperor Protects!

Rytsar: The Emperor Protects, sister. Glad to see you in one piece as well. *Turns to Glynda* Where's Ozpin and Ironwood?

Glynda: Ozpin and Ironwood are planning on retaking Vale from the Grimm. I'll tell you more while we're going there.

Alexis: I'll see you later, dear. Don't cheat on me! *Points Chainsword to Rytsar while whispering* Or I'll kill the bitch you are cheating with.

Timeskip to Ironwood's office.

Glynda: So by retaking Vale, we can have a forward position to scout and attack the source of the Grimm.

Rytsar: I see. Don't worry, something good will happen in 2 months time. We need to have taken Vale and planning our attack on Salem by then.

Glynda: What will happen in 2 months?

Rytsar: The Area 51 ra.... I-I mean something cool.

Glynda: Oh well, let's greet Ozpin and Ironwood.

Ironwood's Office.

Ironwood: This is where the Kyles and Weebs will attack on the entrance point of the base. While the Furries will be the cannon fodder.

Ozpin: It's about time we clapped some alien coochie.

Ironwood: Yeah man, 100% agree with you.

Glynda: *Knocks* Excuse me, Headmaster. Someone is here to meet you.

Ozpin: *Hides Raid plans* Oh shit! Goodwitch! Well then, let them in!

Rytsar: Greetings, Ozpin. Missed me?

Ironwood: Hello there.

Rytsar: General Ironwood. Nice to see you as well.

Goodwitch: Well, Headmaster. Tell Rytsar about our plans to retake Vale. I'm sure he will be of assistance.

Ozpin: Ah yes! With you here, Rytsar. The retaking of Vale can begin sooner. Here are the plans *Hands them to Rytsar*

Rytsar: When I got back here. I was at the city, so I managed to see a bit of what was happening there. The Grimm and their nest are located on the center of the city, They are trying to dig up something there. While some stragglers are patrolling the city for survivors. We can focus a large force to attack the nest, while sending multiple, small squadrons to hunt down and eliminate the stragglers. By doing so, we can take back the city from the Grimm.

Ozpin: The plan sounds good. But there is one problem.

Ironwood: The Grimm have multiplied tenfold while you were gone. And are now deadlier than ever. I can't risk sending kids to a death trap. Plus, the nest keeps pumping out new Grimm.

After hours of discussion of different plans, Rytsar now manages to make a foolproof plan.

Rytsar: Well, we can lure the Grimm out of the city to a trap. So the main force can ambush them. By keeping the Grimm focused on the main force, a squad consisting of 3 teams will sneak behind enemy lines and place charges at the nest. By blowing up the nest, the Grimm will not produce anymore reinforcements.

Ozpin: Brilliant! Now we need to set up the plan.

Ironwood: Me and Rytsar will lead the main force in attacking the Grimm. While you two will select the teams that will infiltrate the nest.

Ozpin: Well then, the plan is now settled. The attack will commence two days from now. While waiting, go get yourself some food and rest, Rytsar. You were gone for 5 months. I think you will need it.

Rytsar: Thank you, Ozpin. It's good to be back.

Goodwitch: I'll show you the way. Let's go, dear. I'll tell you all what happened in the last 5 months.

Rytsar: I'm excited.

As the leaders now finish planning the attack, all that is left to do is to get ready for Operation Grimm Removal 2: Electric Boogaloo.
